Sensational! Everything was superb!

Beautiful property. Felt very luxurious
Sand ended up everywhere in the room but that was from us not the hotels fault.

The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The entrance was attractive with the view to the pool area
I was extremely disappointed with the outlook from the room, the view was overlooking the camping ground next door.
I was anticipating sitting on the veranda with a glass of wine in the evening - BUT seeing campervan roofs, washing on the line, the laundry room ect did not meet my expectations.
People need to be informed that room 233 does not have a pleasant outlook

Loved the swimming lagoon around which the resort is built. The quality of the food output from the small kitchen with just two cooks was extraordinary.
We were disappointed by the indifferent attitude of the restaurant and poolside serving staff. The mature age waitress was a joyful exception. There’s a training problem here.

Nice pool area !
We had to change rooms cause the first room had no privacy as people were right outside our room where the spa bath is and no way of screening for privacy . We were moved to a more private room but very much smaller and no desk. Also no hot water for shower that night or in the morning . I was really looking forward to some luxury after roughing it up The cape for several weeks. Sorry Peppers, your staff are wonderful but the stay let us down for the money. We have stayed in much nicer for far less.

We loved everything about Peppers and we will return next year.
Absolutely nothing.

We liked the location, the room, we did not use the pool
It was ok for us, entry and exit of the car park are not suited to larger vehicles

The pool and bar are lovely.
We had a room over looking the motor home park and some basic thing a in the room didn’t work e.g telephone, flush on the loo, cleaner didn’t clean the cups etc.
All small but frustrating as the hotel was not cheap

Pool could have more lounges
Room A little tired looking
Room services first day was appalling

Awesome beach/pool with at-lounger drinks ordering for maximum relaxation potential. Amazing location right next to the centre of Port Douglas. Friendly staff.
Why do Aussies insist on having sliding bathroom doors that are permeable to all sound?

Extremely asthetic and beautiful
A little difficult to find rooms

Very close to town and beach. Large pool
Too noisy. Room looked into pool, so lots of noise from there. No privacy. Too many families with young children, eating space limited

Comfortable room, nice balcony, beautiful pool area
The waiter forgot us and we waited 1h before they even realised that they hadn't put a dinner order to the kitchen

We had a room overlooking the pool which was lovely. We were able to listen to the live music on a Monday night from our balcony and enjoy a spa on our balcony after a day at the beach. Peppers is in a great location, walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and modern.
We had an odour issue in our room when we first checked in. The staff were very good and sent housekeeping to assess the situation straight away. The problem was in the air conditioner, it was emitting a mouldy odour. They agreed to clean the air conditioner filter for us daily throughout our stay. As the weather was mild, we simply turned the air conditioner off for the duration of our stay (in July), however the air conditioner would be essential in hotter months. We booked the cheapest room which didn't have cooking facilities, however we had booked restaurants for most nights and were able to stock the fridge with breakfast items, so we didn't miss the kitchen. I imagine if you were travelling with a family it would be great to have kitchen facilities for self-catering.

Lovely property and pool area, proximity to town
Not enough restaurants/dining options

The welcome from Emily on arrival was wonderful. We arrived early and she said she would look after our bags and we were welcome to enjoy the facilities while we waited for our room. We asked if she was sure, her reply "of course, this is your home for the next week" it was such a lovely thing to say and we were both impressed!
All of the staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Location
Air conditioning was crap .. bed was two full sized put together so there was a big lump in the middle … about 60% of the tv channels were pixelated and never came in .. breakfast was sub par at best

The location was great if you wanted to walk everywhere.
Lots of sun beds around the pool but unfortunately most of them were in the shade and there was no option to sit in the sun if you wanted to
The room we were given on arrival did not compare to the description provided.
The hot breakfast was very basic and didn’t live up to expectations

Great facilities, friendly & helpful staff, excellent location, good breakfast options
lack of cutlery, mattress little bit uncomfortable

Pool and breakfast was fantastic. Staff were very accommodating.
Zero privacy, the rooms were small and all overlooked the pool. We had the spa room and could literally hi5 people swimming past our balcony from our room on the bottom level, we never got to use the balcony spa as other guests could see you. Do not recommend for a honeymoon.

location was perfect, staff where very accommodating, and facilities where perfect/clean
only criticism was a lack of selection in the breakfast menu!

location and layout
breakfast menu could have been broader, limited selection

the pool is amazing. location is great.
Property was great. but room cleaning timing was poor and reception appeared to have no control on the times they cleaned the room. beds and pillows a bit soft. one gripe was that when we requested an early room clean due to the need to prepare for a wedding, it couldn’t be accommodated and dispite the cleaners being in the area since 9am, they didn’t get to our room until almost 3pm while we were preparing for the wedding. Pete try annoying. the next morning however they woke us up at 9:15am to clean the room.

All the staff were extremely friendly & helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
The pool was beautiful & a perfect temperature 😁
A little more shade around the pool would be good. Room service was sometimes a little bit hit & miss so we occasionally had to ask for more tea & coffee, milk etc. But that was only a minor issue.

Location is great, room was big and serviced everyday.
Staff were friendly and mostly helpful.
The overall cleanliness of the apartment was pretty disappointing.
Bathroom was grimy, first thing I noticed was the glass shower screen was not cleaned and mould on the tiled floor.
Bedroom blinds were covered in dust and didn’t stop the light coming in, bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable.
There was black hair all over the apartment particularly in the lounge room.
The washing machine, dishwasher and microwave all need to be cleaned out.
If the apartment was deep cleaned properly after each stay it would’ve been much more comfortable.
Lastly, the coffee in the cafe was undrinkable. Someone needs to do a barista course.

The staff were generally friendly. The cocktails were decent. Overall the experience was pleasant, just not what was expected.
The rooms were visibly mouldy. The finishing in the room was tired and decayed. The laminate was peeling, the grout was black in places, and the accessories were vintage 2005. A micro-USB dock on the alarm clock? I haven’t seen a micro-USB phone since I was a teenager. The pillows had a BO smell that made sleep uncomfortable.
The bar staff were nice, but the liquor selection was non-existent. The scotch selection was Johnnie Walker Red Label. The whole deal felt corporate and assembly-line.
This place just needs an overhaul and freshen up.

We loved the swimming pool which was a perfect temperature even in the rain. We also loved the Monday night restaurant special menu night...one of the most delicious meals we had over the course of our stay in Port Douglas.v

Spacious suite and fabulous pool which was fantastic with a toddler.
Restaurant food was satisfactory at best and extremely overpriced. 2 small scoops of plain vanilla ice cream for our toddler cost $10. Some restaurant staff were great and willing to accomodate toddler meal times but others were rude and not helpful at all. If travelling with young children, walk up to Coles and stock up on supplies there.
9.0
Clean room, comfy bed and pillows and a little larger than expected.
The staff were super friendly and were truly customer focused. Unlike Peppers Palm Cove
That we had to leave!
Restaurant could maybe have a more varied menu.
But didn’t try what was available for that very reason.
10.0
The friendly staff, the beautiful pool and surroundings and the clean rooms
The restaurant and bar didn’t seem part of the actual hotel but more a rented out area for another company, menus for breakfast and dinner were very basic and not enough options that’s why we ate at other place
6.0
The pool was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The place is looking a bit run down. For a Peppers resort, I also expected the rooms and area to be cleaner. Our room had dust in the corners, marks on the wall, the walk ways/stairwells weren't cleaned and had mud/ dirt in them. I know those places aren't easy to maintain and staffing is hard at the moment but for 500+ a night, you expect more.
4.0
The location was excellent
The cleanliness of the place
The breakfast was average not worth $30per day
After I complained.they did a good job cleaning my room
My main bed room faced the main road so there was no privacy.
Bugs in the bathroom not cleaned properly.very disappointed not 5 star worthy.
I highly don't recommend them the location was the best thing about this place
