Too short.

I got the quiet room as requested. Very peaceful and clean with lovely soft towels and nice bedding. Handwash & shower gel provided. The breakfasts were faultless in choice & quality. A great location: central between old Shanklin, shopping area and seafront. Staff were calm, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the island. Would stay again.

My room was up 4 flights of bare wood staircase, painted white. I have a slight phobia of going down stairs and at times it was hard to define the steps. Maybe a contrasting colour to mark the edges would help ? This was the only negative and wouldn’t put me off another stay. There was only wifi downstairs.

Staff very pleasant but I wouldn’t stay there again

Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and the staff were very attentive- service very prompt

Room was small and it really needed a shelf in the bathroom. No where to put anything Furniture in the room was basic and cheap The bed was hard and you could feel the base of the bed through the mattress

Hotel with lovely lounges and staff

Excellent breakfast, lovely hostess who paid personal attention to guests, obliging concierge who held our luggage between checkout and the train, lovely lounges

Wifi did not work for me (did for my companion), TV did not work, shower pressure was quite weak

Short stay, great staff, good breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was charming, the lounge was very nice. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

The room was a bit bare, no wardrobe and the water pressure was iffy. It was not bad, but less nice than the rest of hte hotel.

Very good

Very friendly staff and the hotel is located close to most amenities. Most are within a 5 minutes walking distance. The room was a good size and clean. The bed was also comfortable. Breakfast was decent with a good choice of cereals and fruits and very tasty cooked options.

The sink tap only had cold water and no warm water which was such a shame if you just wanted to wash your face.

my kids hit sick the second night of our stay and couldn’t make it to bathroom in time. I was charged a £50 bedding rep

felt like none else there. only ever saw 2 guests.

Perfect place to stay.

Second time staying at the hotel and second time visiting was just as good as the first. Owner is really great and all the staff are - rooms are clean and comfy - really nice lounge with games.

looked like someone had stolen the carpets and shower room very small & dated door wouldn’t shut properly did report it but nothing was done

Excellent, enjoyed our stay very much

Breakfast choice and quality was excellent, lady who served us was very friendly and helpful, thank you

All great, WiFi did not work in our room but actually that was not a problem as it kept us off our phones. It did work in most parts of hotel. The team at the hotel were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The hotel location was perfect for us and very comfortable.

A very nice and welcoming hotel, would stay again.

Great location, very pleasant and efficient staff. Breakfast was superb, as good as a 5 star hotel. Good size car park. Room was nice, could do with a larger TV and maybe a small fridge but clean and tidy.

Shouldn’t have to pay to play pool.

Exceptional

Everything was high standard I was on 2nd floor, I am fine with stairs so great as I had an amazing view and door to shared balcony. Decor of hotel and room complementary, balanced and spacious. Welcoming. Vegetarian breakfast excellent. Choice of cereal plus toppings, bread/toast Spacious dining room and lounge. Gardens. Close to seafront with lift to beach and short walk to town.
