Would visit again :)

Very relaxing break, great location by the pond. Food was very good and staff pleasant. We enjoyed the spa and was a real get away from everyday life.

The room needed air fresheners as smelt musty

Lovely views outside the hotel

Quiet location overlooking the lake, lots of outdoor seating, great for warmer months. Parking was easy. Friendly staff.

There was lots of mould on the bathroom ceiling especially above the shower. Put us off using it.

A Great Location beside Frensham Pond & the nearby fantastic Sculpture Park.

Our Executive Garden View was spacious & had a good semi-covered outside seating area. The bathroom, with a walk-in shower was well equped. The restaurant was good & particularly the Full English Buffet Brakfast, apart from the fact that at 9.05am, they run out of fresh bread & only had white sliced!! The location beside Frensham Pond was lovely. Our main reason for staying there was to visit the Sculpture Park, which was just about 2 miles away & was well worth a visit.

Inititially just one lady trying to manage a very busy Breakfast room. Eventually one of the reception staff came to help!

Superb

Everything was pleasant and clean but friendly too.

Just the atmosphere was exactly what we needed after a very long day on site and the hotel accomodations were a great relaxant - we'll be staying here again I'm sure.

Beds and location

Having breakfast included. It was a chock to be offered omlett but then later having to pay extra for it. That should be more transparent I think

Rooms are nice and big with great showers and hotel in a lovely setting with a beautiful view

The staff whilst pleasant are clueless. Clearly not trained properly in catering and service. We attended an event there and there was no organisation at all. Too many errors to mention . The lack of attention to basics was astonishing and which continued throughout our stay even post event when the hotel was dead

Phenomenal views, great facilities, warm and friendly

Room was very clean, nice lay out and tidy. facilities in the room were very good. Breakfast was ace, great view, awesome collection and fabulous service

Exceptional

The hotel is in quiet area with a nice view to the lake (pond). Our bed in the room was very comfortable and the room was spacious.

Adequate have been before and would come again.

Breakfast was varied, all back to self service and replaced constantly.

Evening meal not coming eith ingredients specified I.e pine nuts missing from.pasta dish

Location was beautiful and staff helpful.

Stayed their for four weeks sometimes the floor in room wasn't vacuumed but didn't spoil the stay.

Hotel set in great location and stunning scenery and lovely country walks

The breakfast was nice lots of choice .Helpful staff as we had to tell them coffee in pot was cold . New pot was made . Upgraded on arrival very surprised.Lovely spacious room although it had seen better days cracks on the ceiling dusty spiders webs very dark decor.

I think hotel shouldn't advertise being a spa hotel . The spa facilities are separate to the hotel if you do use the spa it should be included in your stay. Not as they stated £30 a head which made the stay much more expensive. Other local hotels include spa in there pricing which works out cheaper. .

Superb

Beautiful location. Extremely friendly staff. Lady on the desk was very nice and an asset to the hotel.

Room was rather noisy with heating and what I'm guessing is the air con. Also shower dripping. So didn't sleep well. Although not really sure what can be done.

a hotel bereft of atmosphere, style or character

the location was excellent the room was clean

the total lack of atmosphere, along with the dates decor. the furniture is the bar and dining room was totally uncomfortable. the bar meal we had was very expensive and there was no proper dining table. the breakfast was very mediocre, which led us to cancel our breakfast on the 2nd morning. the hot water was cold and smelt like coffee (which was in flasks) there was clearly not enough staff serving the breakfast room
