Breakfast bread -pappy, industrial & croissant disappointing; other aspects of breakfast ( yogurt, fruit & coffee were good)

The buildings are very charming with Georgian structures . The dinner we had was excellent.

Hotel set in beautiful grounds. Ironing board in room. Beverages available in room. Wardrobe is good. Dinner menu good. Large car park.
Surprisingly small desk. Small bathroom. Extractor fan is direct on to main road and traffic noise is loud in bathroom. (I was in Cottage room). Breakfast only average.

Garden and Breakfast area
- Not suitable for vegetarians. hardly anything to eat for breakfast. when asked, the vegetarian dishes were mixed up with non veg when on buffet or otherwise..
- in convenient location for Taxis. the hotel just hands out a paper with contact nos and doesn’t help to organise it. we ended up calling 10 nos every morning.
- our room had broken frame and it well along with glass when in room. the chairs inside the room had bugs. the property is quite old but spaces. needs maintenance and cooperative staff

Comfy bed, clean and tidy room. Breakfast excellent. Gluten free option provided for one of the party. Lovely grounds. Helpful and friendly Reception and breakfast room staff.

Excellent location. Have stayed several times. Always a friendly welcome, good bar meal and comfortable room.
Everything quite ok. Only staying overnight whilst travelling.

room 1 is amazing. been a couple of times now to the same room. breakfast is lovely. grounds lovely to walk in.

nothing - stayed in the Georgian house which was good. have stayed in cottages before which were a bit noisy

The bathrooms were very well equipped.
My bedroom was near the stairs which kept me up a little with people moving around at night.

Lovely old building but very modern rooms
Staff seemed a little stretched so you had to find someone to serve at the bar but they were easily found and very pleasent

staff are great I had an issue with my new-year eve meal they sorted it out straight away and also refunded part of my room rate and gave us a bottle of bubble to take home ,room is great it was cottage no1,great separate bathroom,and roll top bath in the bedroom
very very very squeaky floor board which came from the room above mine but very distracting while trying to sleep in a morning
