Amazing place with amazing staff, everyone was so kind and helping, we enjoyed our stay so much and was very sad to leave, I really want to give a huge thanks to the two bartenders Gamie and Dave, two amazing and helping guys that makes awesome cocktails and coffee, we really appreciate them!
Adding tofu options to the kitchen will be perfect.

WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR STAY AT EL NIDO LAGEN ISLAND! it was so organized from the airport transportation to the boat- our guide Rowell was so accommodating and informative. Rowell also did an awesome job with our tours (by the way that the reaper includes as complementary- which consist of island hoping snorkeling and lagoons)making it so much fun! Approaching Lagen island is so breathtaking. Our stay was very comfortable, clean, Serene, the food was amazing! The staff from the front desk to the servers to the chef and the managers- everyone had exceptional customer service! Very down to earth staff and super friendly!! Our stay at Lagen Island will always be one of the most memorable ones.
can’t say!

Benji was the best employee by far and definitely deserves a raise! Unfortunately his only job seems to be greeting you taking you to your destination.
The food was generally okay (drinks are expensive) that being said sunny side up eggs and room service meals were a step too far for the chef while we visited.
Me and a friend choose this hotel to relax for a few nights after a 14 day trip with a larger group. We were relaxed by and in ore of the surroundings, which are extremely beautiful.
The tours are included, unfortunately we were not informed fishing was available as that is something we would have definitely been up for. (It is in the book in your room, bear in mind it’s 30 degrees so easily missed if you don’t know)
When you arrive you are warmly greeted (with a song) to then be told of the sustainability and environmental efforts being undertaken, which is good, but you could also be better informed of things to stop you going out of your mind.
We visited during the corona scares so I expect it was quieter than usual, that being said it is without doubt the most quiet place I have ever been to, with not a lot going on except the tours which are overcrowded tourist spots.
It is a 100% couples a couples retreat, I’m not sure what age up to as some of the heat and activities may be harder for 55+ especially the hike over the island which was by far our favourite part. Whilst there we got to see a huge monitor lizard & monkeys (it is properly hot and humid so be prepared if you are older or unfit) Also it could do with a tidy that side of the island as there is rubbish everywhere and they are apparently keen on that sort of thing.
It did it’s job, we got refreshed, just felt a little like I was marooned on an island with not a lot going on and handed a big bill at the end, which could have been avoided if we had chosen somewhere with better routes in/out of mainland.
