Bueno ubicación, pero mal olor.

Ubicación perfecta para recorrer la ciudad y además te dan la opción de transporte público gratis con la reservación.

Había un mal olor en el edificio, probablemente cuando limpiaron lo hicieron con un trapo sucio.

Great potential.

Excellent staff, excellent location, great information and assistance, very helpful that they let you store luggage. They try their best to keep it clean.

They charge you $3 for a cup of coffee. That should be included. $12 for a load of laundry is also pretty steep. Guests who do not respect the rules or clean up after themselves, act like they are in their own home. For example, it says no food in the rooms. Group of young guys carrying packs of food to their rooms. Ladies restroom destroyed by the guys ignoring the sign, using it, and leaving water, tissue, and smell everywhere. Kitchen left a mess, couples laying all over the couches and making out like they were alone was one of the more bizarre things I've seen in a hostel. 3 nights in a row, older couple take the remote, turn on the TV, blast it on full volume to a movie of their liking with their food, drinks and snacks everywhere, making out, taking up the couches. It was the strangest and most inappropriate behavior I've seen in the common area of a supposed hostel. SO awkward. Family with screaming baby/toddlers. A barking dog. Yelling people. There need to be some parameters on all of this, its mayhem. Unfortunately the staff have to step up to moderate some of this.

Great location, very central to everything and transport. Lovely staff. Good communal areas.

Wish there were more bathrooms, but never fighting over one.

Good as long as you wear earplugs

Large common area and kitchen, comfortable beds that each have their own reading light, shelf and power outlets, large closets to store your luggage in and come with a key. Shower was nice and warm with good water pressure. City tax includes public transit in Bern!

The location has its benefits but also downsides, such as the noise from the nightlife down below. Even with the windows closed it was pretty loud, couldn’t open them at night because of the noise and rooms got very warm and stuffy as a result. In the common area there’s a vending machine that is so noisy that it’s not relaxing to sit there for a longer period of time. Reception closes between 12 and 15 but luckily I found a member of staff who could open the luggage storage for me so I could still drop off my backpack when I arrived at 13.

Empfehlung! Super netter Service. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder einchecken.

DIe Lage ist sehr zentral und nicht zu weit vom Bahnhof entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, auch die Gemeinschaftsräume inkl. Bad/WC sind sehr sauber.

Der Aufzug ging nicht bzw. uns wurde nicht empfohlen, ihn zu nutzen, da er so alt war. Mit dem vielen Gepäck, was wir hatten, musst man schon 2x gehen.

Girişte Sistem Hatasını Anlamayan Çalişan

Merkezi konumda. Heryeri yürüyerek gezebilirsiniz.Mutfak ve ortak alan geniş. Vakit geçirebilirsiniz. Hemen yanında market çok işe yarıyor ve hemen önünden tramvay ve otobüs geçiyor. Hostel sessiz sakin. Gürültülü değil. Buzdolabı mutfak eşyaları ortak mutfak var. Bagaj kabul etmeleri çok iyi. Çünkü giriş saati gerçekten geç .

İlk gün chekin saatinde ilk gece ödememi online yaptım booking üzerinden. Resepsiyonda ki kadın çalışan rezervasyonu iptal ettiğimi söyledi. Booking ödeme dekontonu banka dekontunu göstermek istediğimde bakmak bile istemedi. Kendisine biraz bekleyelim sisteme düşmemiştir dedim beni anlamak istemedi. Hatta sinirlenerek bana saygısız , what the fuck gibi sözler kullandı. 1.5 saat beklemek zorunda kaldık. Sonradan ödeme kaydım sisteme düştü fakat bu sefer de oda değişti. Kendisiyle sonradan konuşarak konuyu hallettik onu affettim fakat bu gibi sistemsel konulardan haberi olmak zorunda. Sistemsel hata yüzünden müşteriye kizmamali. Diğer erkek çalışan son derece yardimseverdi. Odalara girişte birçok kapı olması da zorlayıcı. Adeta hapishane girişi gibi kapılara bence gerek yok.

although there were stairs to navigate to the first floor reception, the person there helped with bringing our luggage up - and there was a lift up to our fifth floor room so all good

Good Location, good value, good staff.

Great hostel experience in a central location of the old city. Good value in an expensive city. We had a private room on the sixth floor (elevator) that shared bathroom facilities with only four other rooms. There was a well equipped kitchen in a large common room. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It was great

The location was perfect in the center, also for a hostel its amazing very clean and the person at the reception was so nice. He showed us on a map where everything was really great. Also good area for cooking and there is a room for washing your clothes (for a small fee i think)

it was great only for a person that is around 2M tall the beds are also 2M so my feet stick out a bit

It was easy to find, clean, comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful!

I think I would’ve liked a water fountain or something to fill our water bottles with but that wasn’t a huge problem or even a problem at all, just would’ve been nice.

Great Kitchen and Common room, very clean with free Tea and breakfast cereal. The staff is lovely and we were supposed to check in at 3 but it we were able to at 10. If not they store your luggage for as long as you need and you can always use the commonroom. Location is extremly central.

Beds are slightly hard.

Great central place to stay in Bern

A very nice place to stay in Bern. The staff was very polite and helped us with a lot of recommendations. The room was nice and clean. The location is central and is close to all interesting places in Bern.

Everything! The facilities were great, the vibes were immaculate and the staff and business clearly went above and beyond for people to have a good stay. They were very generous with complimentary items (pasta, cereal, maps, etc). The suggestions of things to do were relevant and good. Overall, we had a lovely time, thought the place was absolutely fabulous and would totally recommend it.

Washing machine price quite high, wifi was average (but these are literally the only things we can think of that weren't amazing)

Perfect location, near to EVERYWHERE Though not mentioned on web, but the owner served free rice and pasta which really surprised us Clean, quiet and warm

Quite amazing and is a friendly place to stay

Enthusiastic reception staff. Proper common room with place to cook, eat, do laundry, microwave, fridge and cutlery. Great location, close to the center!

Too few toilets and shower room which isn’t enough for whole floor of people.

Cheap and comfy in Switzerland. Go for it!

In an expensive country like Switzerland, finding a nice and cheap place where to stay is absolutely great. And this is Bern Backpackers. Nice rooms, safe, clean, kind staff and perfect location.

Sometimes wifi was not good and no many plugs where to charge your mobile.
