unique apartment, nice to try

nice room nice decorations and furniture, interesting experience like I'm living back in ancient times, not the bad and undeveloped but the good and ancient experience.

the room2 has no wifi or signal when you are in, especially when im using an iPhone, I was lost with not signal when I was in the room

It needs more attention.

It is a nice old guesthouse and it was central. The check in person recepionist Igor was very helpful and friendly.

The bath leaked water everytime we took a bath until half the room. The taps kept on doing noises even after closed. Bed was too small for two persons and it kept on doing noises when we move. No TV in room. Breakfast was ok but not much of a choice. We had to buy our own toilet products.

Won’t recommend.

Nice bathroom.

I was visiting in December, it was very cold inside. Also so happened no other guests were there and noone at the front desk, so it just felt like a haunted house. You can also hear all the noises from outside. The city itself isn’t the best for tourists. Not much to do. The check in is at 4 pm which is awfully late.

No hot water

Lovely building beautiful place it's like stepping back to the ancient times. Comfy bed.

We arrived to no body there to greet, only over the intercom. We had to find the light switches in a place we'd never been in the dark with luggage. Then there was no hot water so we couldn't have a wash .

Characteristic building, but stay out of the vending machine :)

Friendly human being at the reception. Possibility to store the luggage before check-in. Characteristic and historical building. Nearby ‘Patakkus’ good restaurant. Nearby bus stop and Temples of Tarxien.

No warm water coming out of the douche, tried everything. Very noisy beds :-). The breakfast… Coming out of a vending machine, not very warm/human being. Typical for the capitalistic word we live in. So I went to the grocery store and made my own breakfast. Better no breakfast than coming out of a vending machine.

Charming, castle-like guest house with friendly staff!

Lovely atmosphere to this guest house. The building is beautiful and quaint. Love the little garden situated in the middle. Room was spacious and charming. Shower hot, loads of storage space for clothes and comfy beds!

Could easily hear people walking around and talking late at night. The vending machine breakfast option was not enjoyable.

The worst experience on a trip ever! Poor facilities for the price paid. Rude Owners. AVOID!

The bed fell while we were sleeping on it and we were blamed for breaking it. It was supposedly "brand-new", which as you can see in the pictures was definitely not. We were even warned that we might be asked to pay for a repair if it breaks again. Their fix was just to put a slab of wood under the frame..... After several phone calls not only they didn't offer an apology or a refund, they suggested to move us but with an extra charge! So apart from the BROKEN BED and the really BAD COMMUNICATION with the owners, the room had several other issues that we didn't want to bring up but for the benefit of other travellers.. Hot water and wi-fi is temperamental the sink tap was moving around the window frame was damaged the door knob was broken the shower doors were unhinged our "courtyard view" for the terrace with the aircon fans where the towels are put out to dry rusty pipes limescale there was pee on the toilet when we first entered the room. Generally could be cleaned better for food/drink make sure to have coins with you as there are only coin operating vending machines rough sheets and the list continues..... I would recommend to find somewhere else to stay. There are other cute "traditional" looking boutique hotels in Malta that are more value for money.

The room was comfortable, the staff where friendly and helpful, the location was good.

The room was well furnished and in keeping with the character of the building. It was spacious and the en-suite shower room was well laid out. The room had a fridge and kettle for drinks etc. The aircon was effective.

The description was not clear on the breakfast provision. There is only the vending machine, which had a selection of drinks and some breakfast items but did not have milk. Cutlery was not available except upon request from the staff. Staff were not easy to find.

Really cool place settled in a neighborhood about a half hour walk or 5 min bus /rideshare from the water away from the city bustle. Fascinatingly designed... You feel like you're staying in a modern cavern with gardens accenting the mood. Everything you'll need is here, rides are a minute away and cheap (bolt), easy access to most attraction areas and the airport. Staff is very helpful for any questions by what's app unless otherwise necessary. Loved it!!

wry comfy and clean. with air con. thank goodness as it was very hot in a good location a bus ride from the airport and shops and eateries a short walk away

Difficult to find: it is actually situated at the end of the Santa Marija street. Not much lighting in the room. No tv. Poor Internet connection in the room.

great location, friendly staff, romantic restoration

a beautifully restored Maltese terrace with great amenities, air con, and very romantic. we arrived after hours and remote check in was a breeze - the owner even came around later to check we were in on and then gave us some awesome recommendations for local eateries. Conveniently located near the airport but also to the Tarxien temples and Hypogeum. The town of Paola is also close by and a great place to meet locals. Would highly recommend and a shame we did not stay for longer!

Note that breakfast comes from vending machines, which we struggled with a little in the early morning, but this for covid measures

The room was ok, but not the one we booked.

Other than our room was not the one we paid for, the reception was a "phantom". There was no information for that mistake. The reception is "open" 16:00-19:00??? and before and after that time there is no communication with anybody. The owner promised to reimburse us for their mistake, but nothing happened.

Maltese ppl are allways nice, but the lady who running the buisness wasn’t just nice, but extra helpful. I suggest this guest house for eveyone, bc the rooms are nice, the neighborhood are quiet, and the public transport are near. What is most important: this is a family buisness, and they want good reviews, and they get it from us, bc we were satisfied.

There is no TV in the rooms. It wasnt problem for us, but it can be problem for someone. Also there is no adapter in the rooms, but at least you can buy it downstairs.

Close to the airport and to Valletta. Many connections for the bus around the island (4 min walk to the bus station) Very clean, change of sheets everyday Useful automatic messages through booking with what you can visit and how to check yourself in Friendly staff

The communication was poor. I send them 3 messages with some questions via booking, e-mail and what's app and I never heard back from them.
