I felt instantly relaxed upon arrival at this safe sanctuary with sweeping views of the Pennisular.

The spectacular views and proximity to the Eagle cable cars/gondolas; the cosiness/warmth of the room and the peaceful privacy of the retreat and surrounding gardens.

Everything was fantastic.

Perfect for a couple

Gorgeous views, good amenities, amazing location for hiking, tons of heating (very warm and cozy), clean and well maintained. Beautiful and comfortable balcony. Stress-free, quick and easy check in/check out.

Some noise from neighbors above or wildlife (footsteps), but it was not that bad. Main room lighting is white (cool), i prefer yellow (warm). Its a non-issue, though. Really minor nitpick.

One of the best on the peninsula for that perfect romantic getaway

The rooms are fabulous have now stayed in both main rooms. From the gorgeous robes and the awesome breeze to the magnificent view across Port Phillip bay - needed a bottle of champagne delivered- no issue at all. Absolutely love this place.

The Bowan room needs a bigger or extra couch. Better would be two extremely comfortable arm chairs on the deck. Bath though is truely awesome.

It’s secluded and magically beautiful. The rooms are generous that’s go hand with the view this property provides.

could not work the bathroom heated floor. but I think that’s me stupidly.

5* views and 3* accommodation

we loved the view - it was certainly a 5* view and the wine, chocs and card left for us

it was tired and a bit shabby. We stayed in the Bowen Suite and the stairs down to it only had patchy non-slip panels and on the first set of stairs the lights didn’t come on until you were at the bottom of those 7-8 stairs which is quite dangerous. Apart from the bed which was very comfortable the furnishings looked like the sort that would come out of grandma’s house and be put into a beach house. The furnishings were tatty and tired especially the bedside tables one of which was missing a draw handle. Also there was a cheap air freshener in the kitchen that filled the accommodation with an overwhelming smell when we arrived. This improved once we removed it out onto the balcony. Finally, with the safety warning about homeless people which we received after arriving, it would be helpful to have had a safe provided.

Great view, a very relaxing stay.

Amazing view. Lovely room and a good location to explore the Mornington Peninsula from. Great communication from host.

Noise transferred quite a bit from upstairs. Would book in penthouse if we get to visit again.

great stay with even better views

amazing views, generous size room, great spa bath.

someone in the level above had children there, (not sure if it was permanent residence or an ignorant guest) but the footsteps of children running around since 6am was annoying. Defeats the purpose of a ‘couples retreat’.

My boyfriend and I have loved every minute of our stay here. Spotlessly clean, well maintained, abundant supply of towels, toiletries, teas and coffee and Renee even left us a wine and snacks treat at the door for New Years Eve. So many little details have been thought of, towel warmer, filtered water container, smart TV with netflix and foxtel and extremely comfortable fluffy robes. I haven't even mentioned the amazing spa bath or the spectacular views! Thank you so much Renee. We will be back... as soon and as many times as we can!

Quite dated. Expected a bit more for the price. Kitchen not well equipped, for example no tea towels.

Amazing Couples only retreat. my husband and I spent 1 night in the Bowen Suite and loved every minute of it. The accommodation was luxurious and spotlessly clean. A wonderful place to relax and just enjoy the spectacular view. A great deal of effort has been put into making these suites a perfect getaway. Our thanks to the owners and staff.
