The cleanest place I have ever been! Spacious, nicely decorated, super equipped kitchen and amazing view from the terrace. The host gave us many many tips for visiting the island and the possible hikes in the area. It might be considered slightly far from the Horta bay but there is a very good family restaurant near by and some shops for groceries, even a cheese factory (Omorro) at walking distance.

Fantastic large rural house, welcoming, clean and equipped with all comforts. The owner was extremely nice, she brought us fresh eggs and cheeses.

The downstairs room smelled a bit musty.

Lots of space on two levels, two bathrooms, washing machine, nice kitchen and its close to many nice spots on Faial. Incredible BBQ spot with a large table where we basically ate everyday. Even in October it was still nice and warm enough. Nuno explained us everything in a very friendly and thorough manner and gave us some nice Tipps for our stay.

If you are really really picky about noise, the house is close to a road but there are literally 5 cars passing by during the night, so it's not a problem. I am just trying to find something bad to say that might be an issue for some people but for us it was fine.

The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The owner's mother came by and checked on us a few times, alsway with fresh eggs and homemade jam. Such a wonderful person. Also, whenever there was a question, I received an answer within minutes.

Well, the bedrooms were facing the street, and the windows don't really shut out the noise...so we weren't able to sleep in - but who wants to sleep in if there is so much to discover on the island.
