Exceptional

EFFI WAS MASSIVELY FRIENDLY HELPFUL AND VERY LOVELY. SHE SEND US A MESSAGE WITH GOOD RESTAURANTS AND ALLOWED US TO STAY LATER ON OUR DAY OF DEPARTURE. IT WAS A STONES THROW FROM THE BEACH AND A 3 MINUTE WALK TO THE MAIN DRAG OF SHOPS AND RESTAURANT. THE ROOM WAS VERY COMFORTABLE WITH A FRIDGE, 2 PLATE STOFE, KETTLE TOASTER A MINI KITCHEN BASICALLY THAT IS PERFECT FOR 2 PEOPLE WANTING TO MAKE BREAKFAST. WE ONLY HAD ONE NIGHT BUT WOULD 100% RETURN.

Amazing hospitality, clean and great proximity to the sea!

The host was super friendly and made an effort to ensure my arrival and stay was top notch, I arrived late on Tuesday night and she had prepared with a taxi pick up, water, and snacks in the room. She suggested places to visit and was always available through whatsapp if and when I needed to sound board with her - 10/10 stay! The area was calm, but still in the very center of Platanias, and had good agreements with some of the restaurants and bars in the surrounding area.

Perfect stay

Everything. The location at the beach is perfect. There are very comfortable outdoor sofas with stunning view directly at the beach. The host Effi is exceptionally friendly, kind and helpful.

Nice place and host, but I'd look for something off the beach next time.

Location.

Beach was quite depressing after seeing the other beaches in the area. If I go back to Crete, I'm avoiding the beach hotels because the best beaches are accessed via hiking.

Memorable Stay at Effi Apartments ❤

The apartment was comfortable and well-equipped for a family with 2 children. Fantastic location and beautiful view from the room. Seaside seating, decor and amenities were inviting and breathtaking. Effie and her mom were warm and attentive hosts. Thank you ❤

Best place to stay in platanias, right over the beach. Effi's hospitality was great, she explained every place in crete with great details and helped us sort our trip. Each and everything here has enchanted us.

RELAXING FAMILY WEEK IN CRETE

Very good location - by the sea. Nice garden just by the beach. Very nice and helpfult host. Excellent starting point to discover western part of the island.

ideal place to stay for us, when we wanted the beach on our doorstep and everything close by.

very friendly staff & Effi was a superb host! right on the beach. very close to the nearby restaurants and amenities. great, modern, shower facilities.

parking was a bit tight! but was right on the property.

Lovely gem by the beach, owners make you feel truly home.

You could order breakfast to room also which was great! The location is amazing, right by the beach. Owners are lovely and so helpful! It feels like a home. True gem in Crete!

The property is located in the beautiful part of Crete with a beach located just outside the garden of the facility. Effi was such an amazing, caring and loving host. I will definitely remember this place for a very long time. Hope to get back there as soon as possible

Unforgettable stay thanks to the great facilities and Effi :)

We loved the warm welcoming by lovely Effi, the place is gorgeous, well decorated with attention to every small detail, the beach is just a step from the room, the garden is lovely and again, Effi is an unforgettable woman, with a huge heart and willingness to help. We are still using her tips for traveling in Crete

A liked the family oriented concept of the location mother,brother cousins it was great all trying to help out

Host as she was really busy was not in full view some sort of a bar soft drinks or snack would have been nice to be served/self service especially when you are sitting in that beautiful garden lounge in front of the beach

Effi is wonderful host! Also the place is great - rooms are clean and cozy, beautiful garden to rest. Next to the beach. You feel like at home not in the hotel. Very relaxing and quiet. Recommend!

Definitely coming back!!!

From the amazing hospitality, wonderful location, breathtaking views and great well taking care of grounds and apartment. It was by far one of the best stays we’ve had. Effi and her family were so warm hearted and treated us like family. You can’t get any better than that! We are definitely coming back!

The best place to stay

There is not enough words to express how nice Effi Apartments is. Effi and her family are so friendly and kind. My wife and I have stayed here 3 times now. It is always a wonderful time.

A little paradise

Everything was great. The appartment was right next to the sea and we enjoyed the nights with the sound of the waves. Effi and her mother recommended us great beaches and restaurants in the area and even borrowed us a sun umbrella, when we discovered the island. The breakfast is not included but you can book a menu for 6 Euros and it is very tasty.

Superb

Its directly at the beach, takes two minutes to get to the sea. Effi, the proprietor is extremely helpful and friendly . Also there is a lovely garden, to sit and overlook the sea. The beach is sandy and has only very little pebbles, you can walk on without tiptoeing.

Effi's apartments are wonderful

This was our second stay at Effi's apartments. Again it was a wonderful time. Effi and her Mama along with all the rest of the staff are the kindest people we have met. I could spend hours talking with them. The apartment we stayed in was beautiful. The entire complex is totally renovated. I could spend weeks there in such a beautiful setting.
