Amazing value for money!

The hotel rooms are next to / above the family restaurant and super close to the beach (a stone throw away). The staff is amazing and always so helpful. We really felt looked after and at ease here. There is air con and a tv in the room. We also had a small balcony in our room into the backyard, with a table and chairs, and a clothes rack.

The rooms’ soundproofing isn’t great but that’s typical for a building like this. if you are a light sleeper, I would advise to bring some ear plugs! as long as people know to be respectful and try not to be loud it’s alright. had to tell off people a couple of times for stalling in in the hallway talking loudly. The bathroom is of a good size but the shower “cubicle” is small and with a fabric curtain (rather than doors/walls). it’s very easy to get water everywhere but there is a drain hole on the bathroom floor, in addition to the one in the shower, so just consider it a wet room.

OK but we are not coming back

The location is amazing

I have stayed here before and asked for a specific room or just a couple of wishes - nothing was fulfilled. The floor was not swept once during our stay and upon check in we had no towels. The rooms overlooking the back are horrible and after 3pm you cannot stay on the balcony as the smell of food is so intense. The staff never gave the wi-fi code or showed us our room. During our 15 day stay - we never really saw the staff either.

Good stay in a not so crowded village in a decent double bedroom without private parking

Georgioupolis is a small town yet full of life. We enjoyed very much the location. The building is renovated on the outside, but the rooms are not. The size of the double bed was decent and the room amenities included a mini fridge which came in handy.

No parking. Although clearly stated on Booking, there is NO PRIVATE parking. You have to park on the street, subject to availability. We found clothes in the wardrobe from previous people staying, which raised some questions regarding the thoroughness of the cleaning. The check-in and check-out experiences were nothing memorable.

It was one of the best hotels with stayed in Crete.

very clean. kitchen well equipped. air conditioning and the view was amazing. We arrived early and had no problem with checking in. Location is great. close to the river and lovely beach. Food in the restaurant was delicious too.

Very good

The location suited us well. The room was clean, simply furnished with a small balcony overlooking the rear garden area. It had a shower, sink and toilet. Clean bedding and fresh towels provided. The room was an adequate size. The air com was very good and much needed.

The room needs a bit more storage and small table under the sink in the bathroom would have been useful for toiletries as no shelf.

A great family run hotel overlooking the port at Georgioupolis. Modern, light, well equipped & comfortable rooms with air conditioning included for a good night’s sleep in the hot Summer weather. Everything was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay & the owners were really friendly. Their adjacent Taverna, Nostos is excellent too, with very good service & really nice food. It’s well worth a visit for anyone staying in Georgioupolis.

Nice clean budget hotel. In a good location. very close to the beach, main square, and the river. Our flight was late, and the owner left us a nice note and the key for our room at the front of the office.

Perfect

Immaculate room with comfortable bed and lovely white sheets and towels. Perfect location in the centre of the resort. Slept really well as room quite peaceful at night. Staff very pleasant. The family restaurant, Nostos, is next door and we had a fabulous meal there.

Would have liked a bin in the room but managed easily using carrier bags which the cleaner took every day.

Georgioupoli is a pretty location. The hotel rooms (with balcony) in River Side are new and very clean and have enough place. Great location in the village. And very friendly hosts.

Lovely little place

The location is perfect the rooms are clean everything you need right by the Riverside and so close to the square will be back again as this was our 3rd visit

Maria and her family run a lovely and friendly hotel in central Georgeoupolis. Very clean and perfect for a single traveller. The family Nostos Restaurant next door serves delicious home made traditional food.
