No frills, simple. Hot water was good

Wifi was very very weak. Facilities are quite obviously old, didn't seem clean. Air-conditioning wasn't working well so I was freezing sometimes.

The hotel was very close to the station.

It was a nice & cosy room. The staff were very helpful.

WiFi reception was not good so it kept dropping out. There was a kind of a petrol smell.

Good choice if you're looking for something basic and affordable

PRICE: The price is among the most affordable within the area. LOCATION: The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood but it's still within the central area. There's a 7-11 nearby, plenty of restaurants, cafes. Sendai Station is a short walk away. ROOM: The room was meant for one person. It's kind of smaller than other rooms but again, think about the affordable cost. MATTRESS: The bed was quite firm. It's perfect for me because I like this kind of bed. ROOM AMENITIES: The room had all the basic necessities: a big TV, a small fridge, a kettle, a small side table, and some other stuff like wooden hangers, a shoe horn, a flashlight, a pair of bedroom slippers. In the bathroom, you have the usual toothbrush and toothpaste, brush, razor, a hairdryer. BREAKFAST: Breakfast buffet is only 800 yen, I think. STAFF: The staff were kind but I'm not sure if they speak English. We understood each other through simple Japanese.

This is not a complaint but just a note for people considering to stay at the hotel. The room where I stayed didn't have a closet but it's expected. You get what you pay for. :)

Very good

Cancellation policy was a relief, and the price was very fair. Facilities were clean, and it's conveniently close to the station.

The bed was a little short for me.

The first room I had was quite uncomfortable because there were hair strands on the bed but when I called the staff if they can clean it or change linens, they gave me an upgrade to a higher floor. And this time the room is clean and neat. Grateful for the guy staff who assisted me even if I spoke broken Japanese.

They give 2 green tea individual packages for free

Staff doesn't speak any english at all. Process for going out is to handle room's key to the staff, when coming back you have to tell them your room number and they give you the keys. Me and my guest (both foreigners) were asked for our names at reception before giving our room's keys back, but japanese guests were not asked for their names. They should have another process to avoid this kind of situation. Also, heater was not working in one of the rooms.
