Best birthday with peaceful and spectacular pool and sea views

There was no breakfast but the location is perfect with great views and easy to access restaurants, the beach and other amenities

The view and place felt like I was at home

Loadshedding, we had no lights in our room as the lights were flat but other guest lights were on for the 2 hours that we were off. So that was not nice at all. Also the breakfast was too expensive 😩

Beautiful location! The staff was really lovely and responsive. We only stayed for one night but would recommend. Good value for money.

Some features were a little tired but overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The bedrooms where nice and clean including the bathroom. Amazing interior throughout the family room. Loved the pool and ocean view from our bedrooms and the stuff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend it

The neighbour's made noise for the whole night like they had a party or something and they where walking in our room through the door that connected the 2 rooms to go on the other side of the house while making noise in the isle.

Beautiful views, uncomfortable place.

Location was good, also the view. Staff was friendly, yet very inefficient.

We arrived and fridge, ac, tv and plugs weren't working (not on load shedding, as on load shedding they didn´t work). We had issues with having hot water (not on load shedding). The curtain and shower were broken. Just a very dissapointing experience. It's probably my 10th time to Cape Town, and this was by far the worst place I´ve stayed at. It says it has a gym, yet when we asked to use it (on sunday), they said they would come back to me on when. I left 10 hours ago and I´m still waiting for them to let me know.

Amazing hosts amazing place

We loved Sophia Ali, Portia, and all the staff. They made our holiday special by making sure all our needs were more than met. They were kind and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the African "vibe" of the guest house, and the view and sunsets from our balcony were incredible. Thank you so much. You are truly special people.

Great views, incredible host and complete family vibes

Beautiful property with a nice view looking down to the bay. Easy to reach location with a good 30 minute walk down to the promenade. It was really comfortable and the pool area received sun. The host Sophia was also incredible too.

Spacious with fantastic view and great balcony!

Location was 30 mins walk into Camps Bay and long uphill walk back. Electricity Load shedding was a slight problem. Uber were fantastic value for money, so distance was no problem

Great stay in Cape town with a breathtaking view!

The view was absolutely breathtaking! Watching the sunset over the ocean was just incredible. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were willing to help when needed. The entire place was clean and well kept. I would highly recommend African Vibes whenever in Cape town. It's in the exclusive Camps Bay Area and it's great value for money.

The premesis is quite underinvested, and with limited impact one could make this a fabolous place. Security should also be improved with an old door.

Relaxing, with great Views

We stayed there towards the end of our stay in Cape Town, was really a good choice to relax and chill before a long flight back. The place was fully booked but it didn’t feel crowded at all. Residents and staff were friendly. The place as a homey vibe and it has one of the best views in town of the ocean - great for sunset lovers.

The location is not very central, but you can easily get an Uber. otherwise, Everything was as described before booking.

Perfect clean and comfortable stay

We loved our stay here - the perfect start to our trip. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the views were exceptional, the room was spotless and clean, comfy bed and lovely pool/outside area to use. The location is great for Camps Bay and Clifton beaches - we got Ubers everywhere which only takes 15 mins. If you’re considering staying at African Vibes, do it! You’ll be very pleased with your stay.

If you want to be walking distance to the beach, this might be a little bit too far as it is down some hills but we got an Uber and it was no problem.

lovely stay but disappointing communication

property is in a great location and has lovely views

the hosts were not there when we checked in so we were shown around by the cleaner who wasn’t able to answer all our questions. an honesty bar would be great as there was no facilities to access any drinks unless the hosts were there which wasn’t always when you wanted. I also left a top which was of sentimental value to me, I have sent numerous messages asking for them to check, many have just been ignored - I was told people where in the room so they could not check, but it has now been 10 days and no update - I would say this is quite poor
