Le cadre global de la masseria.
Pour le prix payé, en ce début de saison, la prestation pourrait être plus haute :
- Piscine non chauffée,
- la masseria est excentrée de Matera et au milieu d'une zone d'entreprises bruyantes.
- L'environnement direct de notre chambre donnait sur l'activité de ses entreprises bruyantes.
- les chambres mal isolées phoniquement.

Definitely recommend this hotel! The conversion of this 275 year old agricultural property was done with great care and taste. Our room was the largest and it was huge, well furnished, very clean, with a big tub, bug TVs, and all around excellent. Staff, particularly Enzo, were very helpful and kind. Plenty of secured parking. Breakfast was free and simple but good quality. There is a pool for use in summer and a football pitch was being prepared for next summer. Restaurant on sight looks good, but we didn't eat there. Winter prices were very favorable. If you want excellent accommodation outside of town center and don't mind driving 10-15 minutes to go into town, this is the place for you.
Location is surrounded by industrial warehouses and auto dealerships and is not ideal as you cannot walk to any restaurants, stores, etc. But you do get a pool and big rooms as the tradeoff. Breakfast was basically the same everyday...could have had more variety, or maybe offered something hot. The outdoor "atmospheric" music playing every morning at 08:00am woke us up.

Superb. You drive through a comercial center but one through the gates it's amazing. The attention to detail of the whole site is excellent. Staff very friendly too.

Gorgeous property. Just like the photos, maybe even better.
Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Pool was clean and refreshing. The grounds and lobby are meticulously maintained. I thought the breakfast that was included had a pretty good variety but another family member disagreed.
It was located in an industrial neighbourhood and, at first, we thought we were lost. You do need a car to get around, especially if you plan to tour old Matera

Staff are excellent. Attentive withput being overbearing and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Made for a really relaxed and chill break. Pool really nice and tranquil too.
Nothing really springs to mind that i didnt like. Shower could have been a bit more powerful but hardly a problem.

beautiful property and nice pool
unfortunately it’s situated in middle of an industrial estate on outskirts of Matera although they have done their best to shield it from view. rooms are very stark, poolside noisy more from maintenance staff playing loud music and preparing for events

The hotel is hidden away off the street, and has good views of the hills in the distance. Rooms are comfortable and functional. Good shower, excellent and powerful.

The location on an industrial estate wasn't great. Photos very deceptive. At least q5 minute drive to and from the centre. You couldn't walk it.

Beautiful building. Rooms were spotless and the restaurant and breakfast were outstanding. What was best was the recommendations from the staff.

Absolutely beautiful, comfortable, owner so amicable. Showed photos of all the amazing work that they did to make the place so modern, classy, unique, comfortable! Good breakfast buffet. Loved my stay.

It is an amazing facility, modern, clean, very well structured. The rooms was large, the WiFi was excellent, the staff was really very polite and professional, free privet parking, safe and warm during winter.

The hotel is set up nicely with a modern atmosphere mixed in with the old. The breakfast is very good and the free parking is plentiful. Would definitely stay here again

A very romantic stay on our honeymoon road trip.
Breakfast was in the lovely scenic courtyard and a large selection of food. and the hotel restaurants food was superb.
Nice and safe gated complex. Staff were super helpful with maps and information telling us all the sights to see.
Although we had a great night at the hotel restaurant the waiters could have been more attentive.
Breakfast was lovely but some items could have been a little fresher, the fruit available was a little past its best. The hotel and grounds were stunning however the surrounding area was unexpectedly commercial, and not within walking distance of anything of real interest.

one of the best relaxing places I’ve ever been. I’m totally in love with this old but comfortable building, stunning view and beautiful swimming pool. The owners, two brothers where sooo friendly! they are really love what they do. Definitely return in future with all our big family.

It is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Loved it!
The requirement to wear a swim cap if in the pool. My boyfriend and I didn’t use it because wearing a cap would take away the enjoyment.

restaurant/ pool bar closed on Mondays which was the day we checked in although Alessandro was very accomodating in providing some snacks/ drinks and recommendations to places in town

don’t be put off by the surroundings (the hotel is in an industrial zone): as soon as you pass the gate, you are in a different world!
