nós surpreendemos com o hotel

Atendimento excelente de todos no hotel. A localização é muito boa, perfeita para conhecer o centro da cidade. O café da manhã tem muitas opções, é bem variado e servido. O quarto é grande, muito confortável, possui um bom secador de cabelo (no início ele não funcionou, mas trocaram em alguns minutos). A comida do restaurante é muito boa também. Chuveiro e piscina são aquecidos. Bons drinks.

The stay was extremely pleasant, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The Room was kept very clean and housekeeping was immaculate. Jorge was brilliant, so friendly and helpful. The pool and rooftop were amazing and helped deal with the heat to cool down

Relatively minor issues - In the bathroom area particularly the toilet room there was a leak from the ceiling which passed down the wall and created a large puddle in the walkway between bathroom and bed, this was highlighted and dried but returned each morning resulting in unexpected wet feet. Airport transfer cost was high in comparison to others arrival was 108.00cop. When we returned to airport we paid 30.000cop from the same vicinity and the traffic was busier leaving.

Definitely not worth the $450.00 I paid compared to the $350.00 I paid at Ananda.

Positives: Rooftop area is beautiful.

They placed me in a basement room that was dark and smelled like mold. Even the walls were damaged. I Paid a lot less at the Ananda Hotel and the room was 100 times superior to the room I was placed in at Bastion. When I asked for a glass of wine to be delivered their pour was less than half a glass.

Exceptional

The pool was out favorite part. Since it was during the week we had it mostly to ourselves. Our attendant was amazing!! She knew what to get us the moment she saw us walk in. We will definitely return to the city that has captured our hearts! Thank you Bastión Hotel!

Staying at the Bastion is a world-class experience. 5 stars!

We truly like everything that this hotel has to offer. From the pool to the outstanding breakfast to the dedicated service, let alone the spectacular rooms, Bastion is truly a luxury experience!

There is nothing we disliked about our stay at Bastion.

it was great

it was our last day at Cartagena and we chose this hotel to relax. we were so right! the spa rituals and treatments were amazing and Sandra was a darling! we could not have been more relax and well rested after a 5 day trip of dancing all night long. the staff was great and super helpful, they even let us into the breakfast buffete ahead of time so could be in the airport on time. they even offered if we wanted to have it boxed “to go” so we could have it calmly at the airport. we had dinner at the restaurant El Gobernador and it was great! entres are a good size but beware main courses are large 😂 we were stuffed before dessert. overall great experience

We loved our stay at Bastion Luxury Hotel! The roof and pool area had gorgeous views of the city and the location was very walkable to everything we wanted to see in Cartagena. The staff was also so friendly and accommodating, especially Hector!

Cockroaches in the bathroom and poor pathetic response from hotel guest relations and general manage

While the hotel does have a very beautiful structure, very modern on the inside while maintaining the colonial, which was is very impressive. However, the details are not of a luxury hotel as they claim to be

Cockroaches in the bathroom and no response from the hotel. This is NOT a luxury hotel, it does not have the appropriate customer service and management response when needed, there is no value for money and they do not care about customer satisfaction. On 21st of December I decided to surprise my wife with a one-night getaway with no kid for first time in 1 year. I chose this hotel because of the glowing reviews it had on many hotel booking platforms, including amazing structure and most important customer service. The late afternoon after the check in, we went to the pool which has nice view, but it was dirty with bugs, leaves, and the water was oily from the many users I presume. Additionally, there were vultures in the pool drinking the water, risking a health issue. Early the next morning, when my wife goes to the bathroom to her surprise, she finds a live cockroach walking around the shower (please see the picture attached). We immediately called the reception to please come up and remove it, as this is a supposed luxury hotel, I was not going to clean this. The reception took 20 minutes, and no one showed up, so my wife and i decided to go for breakfast, hoping eventually someone would come and clean up. After a long breakfast (which honestly it is a very basic buffet breakfast, but comment on that later), we went back to the room, the cockroach was removed, but the shower was not cleaned up, I find this disgusting and low customer service. Up to that time, there was no response or any attention from the reception. We decided to then do the check out as it was nearly the time, no one followed up nor did they acknowledge this problem. I decided to ask for the guest relations manager, Eric Ponce. I explained the situation and they only said I'm sorry

classy except room was a dump; marks on walls, screws in walls, tv did not work correctly, shower iffy, one sink nice staff except upon exciting; inquired about double billing but turned out there was no double billing.
