One of the best hotels on the west coast

The family suite was perfect with its terrace and picturesque views, not to mention direct access to the tennis court. It had a nespresso machine (capsules), tea-making facilities and a large bottle of water in the fridge daily. It also had a large smart TV with Netflix, YouTube, etc. Great wifi connection. The Staff were very welcoming, smiling, helpful and discreet. Breakfast was one of the best we've ever had! Top marks for the food and its beautiful presentation in general! Excellent location; 10 mins from Cliften and close to Roundstone, Kylemore Abbey, the 12 Bens/Pins, Inisbofin and Omey islands and several beautiful beaches such as Mannin Bay Blueway Beach, Gurteen Beach and Dog's Bay (Roundstone). The hotel beach is breath-taking - we spent our mornings there looking for all kinds of shells, crabs, jellyfish, etc. We all loved it! We used the Spa and the Sauna which was overlooking the beach/sea. It's a perfect hotel for a family, romantic getaway or for a break away from the stress of life. You are bathed in peace, quiet, nature and tranquillity!

Absolutely nothing! We were sad leaving after 5 wonderful days there and hope to be back there again!

The property was clean and welcoming.

The facilities were not great. The electricity and water was not working for the majority of our stay, and as a result we were unable to clean ourselves. When we expressed this to the staff they were not sympathetic and said that it was out of their control. While we can understand it being out of the staff’s control, we thought it was disappointing not even been alerted of the occurrence. When asked directly if the power was off/when it was coming back, the staff was nonchalant/apathetic. The price we paid did not match what we received and over all it was very disappointing.

Fantastic location. Very clean hotel, large bedrooms and delicious food. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great spot for relaxing and retreat😀

The staff were helpful

It could be more child friendly. There weren't many facilities for children. Our room wasn't cleaned one of the days and we had issues with the Internet.

yellow deck chairs brown outside of hotel was a bit drab we stayed in thesuite, website showed a very unrealistic view of the beach from the bath 🤷🏼‍♀️ bath taps were wrong end considering the cost it was missing a few little touches for example the coffee /tea facilities were a little sparse and no biscuits, some Irish shortbread would have been a nice touch 👍🏼 only one toilet roll and tissues ran out breakfast room dated, staff lovely and friendly
