The staff were very friendly but as for the apartment unpleasant. Drinking and loud noises early hours of the morning disturbing peace of other guests.
The room paid for was not the same room offered to us as mentioned on the booking app!!
No towels, toilet paper or soap in bathroom. Open shower floor gets flooded with water. Place is covered in ants. Blood stained bedsheets.

Filthy - the venue stinks… It is unsafe, in fact dangerously unsafe. The place was filthy and this booking has ended my up till now happy booking using the bookings.com app. We never stayed here as our team said it was unfit for occupancy…The venue advised that Bookings.Com has retained our monies paid - and Bookings.com advises that the venue has the money. I am absolutely furious and will take this to the highest level to ensure we are refunded. Do not stay in this dump - it looked like they were also running a brothel…
We did not like anything

Closer to where my business was, and the environment felt like I was home away from home.
The fact that the bathroom had no big towel . Leasing of towels and nonrefundable wasn't fair. No mats next to beds and the blankets yoh !

Nothing had to pay extra 100 for arriving after 20:00 while I knew I was going to arrive very late due to distance
Blankets and sheets not in good condition

The cleansiness of the place
Its a self catering place but they dont hv irons nor all the kitchen facilities linked to call it a full self catering facility . The caretaker is so unfriendly and very shrewd when asked simple questions in a polite manner . The wifi never worked unless you outside of your room . Was advised no loadshedding but had it more than once in a day with no notice

The place was in fair condition peaceful
What i didnt like was the fact that i told the owner(the guy) that we are just passing by we dont have any friends or family in PE but everyday keeps on reminding no visitors i wouldve liked to be asked how your stay is do you guys need anything like most guest host do! Not making us feel uncomfortable!

my wife had to sweep the apartment; it felt dirty and a lot of dust was swept from underneath the beds. We went and got anti-flea/tick spray, removed the linen, sprayed and powdered the beds. . .

Bed was nice and comfy. And also the room was big and spacious.
The way we were forced to produce copies of our ID's for a room we already made a payment for. Meaning that if we did not have ID's we would not have been allowed to stay. Also the first time I ever heard of paying extra for a towel. And worst of all they don't stipulate this mess when paying for your room. Very bad experience. We just went to relax.

The view outside the apartment.
The apartment is spacious and clean.
Access to property seems secure and is closed off with fence and remote controlled electrical gate.
The check in on arrival was a little unpleasant at first as the accommodation initially insisted that the names, surnames and photos of Identity documents are required of all the guests.
We were a total of 4 adults that were traveling from the Eastern Cape returning to our home ( Cape Town ) and decided to book an overnight stay in effort to avoid driving at night. As long distance travelers ( 10hrs+ ) and after a very tiring, emotional weekend of laying a family member to rest we didn't appreciate the effort required for the check in process upon arrival. The other 3 guests with me didn't have their IDs with them and this was a mandatory requirement of the accommodation.
After a few unsuccessful attempts to get hold of the property manager via telephone call, the manager eventually answered and after a short conversation and myself explaining the situation to her she then allowed us to check in with only my ID who is responsible for the booking ( which is a widespread standard practice in the business ).
I had to explain to the accommodation's management that the requirement for IDs of all the guests is a very unusual practice and that it usually is only the ID of the person responsible for making the booking that is required.
The overall stay was pleasant, there is a beautiful view right across the apartment. The apartment is spacious, clean and the beds have decent solid mattresses so you will get a comfortable and decent rest.
Advice:
If the requirement for IDs of all guests can be changed to only the ID of the person responsible for the booking then check-ins on arrival would be more pleasant as not everyone would come ready with IDs of all the guests, especially long distance travelers.
Management of the accommodation should be easily reachable. I had to call management more than 6 times and had to wait more than 10 minutes to eventually have my call answered, all while the other guests had to wait in the car for the check in to be completed.
