Good for a short stay.

Good location, near the market, restaurants and bars.

For the price and pictures we were expecting the shower to have hot water, but it doesn’t.

Low Price No Frills

Staff helped us switch to more suitable-sized room without any change in fees. Good low-budget option if you do not mind steep stairs and basic asian wet-room style bathrooms or going elsewhere for meals (nearby Epic Arts cafe and Malay Garden cafe both excellent options)

Got what we paid for ultimately, it's a cheap low-end option. Staff unaware I had already paid in full online, so need to improve their own information systems

Room service, bathroom not clean enough and the air conditioner is not cool.

Bad attitude, poor communication, lack of flexibility.

It was cheap.

Just about everything else: GM wasn't clear about lack of air con and no hot water, saying she turned them off because of the room price. When offered a top-up, she refused, saying "that's not what you booked". To be clear, air con and hot water are controlled by a central switch and can be turned on and off at the discretion of the property, for each room.

It was within walking distance of everywhere we needed to go. Pretty quiet area too. We slept comfortably and had a pleasant stay despite the problems.

Place needs some repairs. When we first arrived we couldn't turn the electricity on with the card. It wasn't even mounted firmly to the wall. I called the cleaner to help and she tried to shove a shampoo packet in it. When that didn't work she called, who I assumed to be the boss lady, to help and she found some random paper to stick in there. It worked! Lol. The fan couldn't swing and the bathroom drain worked poorly so it always flooded when we showered. The price was good, but I would hope that the things in the room would at least function properly. And maybe it's just me, but if I indicate that three guests are coming I would hope they would realize that the two towels and blankets in the room aren't enough.

Good location to walk most places if you don’t mind walking 10/15 minutes. I think the river with all the restaurants on was about 20 minutes walk. Far enough out it was quiet through the night. Very friendly and helpful young man working on reception. Fan was surprisingly efficient and kept us comfortable. Had a nice tv also.

Construction work going on and noise starts early in the morning on property’s surrounding. The sink over flows on the bathroom and the drain doesn’t clear so the water pools around a your ankles on the shower. The mattress had seen better days as you kind of sunk into it and lean over to one side. Flights of stairs upstairs to the upper floors but the young man helped us with out heavier bag.
