Location, size.

Although not the owners fault , the apartment next door was being renovated so there was drilling and noise every day.

Good size apartment well located at the marina in Estepona. Plenty of nearby places to eat and drink and a nice walk into town centre though roadworks are ongoing to pedestrianise the sea front area. The apartment was clean and comfortable and check in was easy with good communication with the rental operators.

TV was available but there were no english chanels which would have been good. There was no microwave oven in the kitchen which is unusual these days and would have been more convenient but not a great problem.

The actually apartment is lovely and in a great location. Whilst you might worry that the balcony is on the main road it's actually high up for being a ground floor apartment and is quite peaceful at night. (Not sure if this would change peak season though). The balcony is also really big - there's patio doors leading out to it from both bedrooms and the living room. The apartment was just like the pictures so plenty of space for 4 of us! The There was lots of restaurants nearby as well as the old town just being a 10 minute walk away along the promenade. If we were coming back to Estepona we would definitely consider staying here again - I feel it was great value for money.

The person who came to give us the keys to the apartment didn't seem to know a lot at all and wasn't that helpful. They couldn't tell us how the lights worked in the apartment, told us the wrong wifi password and couldn't get away quick enough when I wanted to go out and check that both sets of keys worked as she actually had great difficulty getting into the building. That being said, the host was only a whatsapp away for answering my questions to give me the correct information.
