Gut - mit Luft nach oben

Die Lage direkt am Mekong ist super. Und auch sonst: sehr zentral. Die Aussicht vom Zimmer im 7. Stock oder von der Sky Bar waren toll.

Frühstück hat definitiv Luft nach oben, wie auch die Art der Präsentation (ist auf asistische Gäste ausgerichtet). Nachts war es zum Teil laut da praktisch keine Teppiche liegen (ausser in den Gängen). An der Reception sprechen nur 1-2 Personen wenig Englisch.

Die Aussicht aus dem 10. Stock. Die Größe des Zimmers. Die Lage am Fluß.

Betten steinhart. Wasserhahn defekt, auch nach Reklamation nichts passiert. Erst am nächsten Tag konnten wir das Zimmer wechseln. Benutzte Sanitärartikel lagen noch in der Schublade des Badezimmers. Das Hotel ist allgemein in die Jahre gekommen - fleckige Teppiche.

Veneer

The view was fantastic and the bed was comfortable. Certain personnel were excellent, but others were the opposite. We were able to arrange bicycle rentals, but our request was not even acknowledged until we asked on arrival even though we wrote them a few days before.

My wife and I stayed a total of six nights. The hotel has the veneer of a higher end place than it is in practice. Some employees, but not all, were bordering on hostile and clearly did not want to be there. It was great to have a refrigerator, but it was connected to the main power, meaning it would turn off whenever we left and items such as yogurt would be inedible. We requested two key cards in order to keep the power supply, but we were refused. This meant needing to ask somebody to let us into the room each time we returned. The shower water temperature varied significantly. The breakfast was simply greasy and we avoided it. The issue we had with a faucet sums up the hotel as a whole. The stylish-looking faucet stopped working so we alerted the front desk about it before heading out for the day. It had not been fixed by the time we returned so we alerted them again. Somebody then arrived to fix it and we heard a great deal of banging and clanging from the bathroom followed by the departure of the repair guy and the arrival of a cleaner. This led us to believe that it had been fixed, however Instead of not working, the faucet shot out water from various locations. We recorded a video in order to show the front desk. We were then changed to another room, but received no apology for what happened.

This is my first choice in Kampong Cham

I had a wonderful view of the Mekong River and the room was appealingly furnished. The staff of the hotel were very helpful, and I appreciated their ability to speak in English. I enjoyed the breakfast which offered Chinese, Khmer, and Continental fare. I only wish I could have enjoyed the facility for a longer stay.

I have stayed in this hotel a few times in the past and I never encountered a problem, but this time I could not get hot water in the shower. I didn't have time to ask the staff to remedy it but I am sure they would have done so had I asked. Besides, who needs really hot water in steamy Cambodia anyway?

Worth a visit

Hotel was great. Service and staff excellent. The view from the large room was stunning and rooftop bar was lovely

The pool was indoors, next door. It was hot and humid, you could not relax

The room is cleaned and tidy.

The staff was not entirely friendly and helpful. Requested for additional bed but was turned down - could not understand English or perhaps refuse to cooperate.

Central location, close to everything you need. Skybar is lovely with cheap cocktails Rooms are nothing fancy but quite comfortable

Beautiful room with fabulous views

it’s located on the waterfront so our room had a lovely view. The hotel has two restaurants and bars. Breakfast was good. We both had a very nice omelette. The rooftop restaurant/bar is great in the evening with a nice breeze and fantastic views. The bed was large and very comfortable with nice linens. Staff was extremely helpful.

They didn’t have housekeeping come in even though we were there for two days so we had to ask for extra towels since we were showering a lot. it was very hot and humid and we were exploring in bicycles. I also had to empty the bins in the room myself and ask fir new bin bags. There were small ants in the bathroom.

The location is fantastic and the staff was very attentive with your bags and opening the doors

We were on the 8th floor and the wifi kept cutting out. We told the front desk 3 times but it was weak signal and kept turning on and off through the whole stay sometimes staying off for hours at a time

Loved the staff and my room.

Couple’s room on 7 floor was absolutely amazing with stunning views.

The skybar was awful. Did not match the standards of the rest of the hotel. Ugly design and boring.

exceptionally poor wifi in room. cockroach in bed and had been for a while given it had soiled it! shower floor very slippery. reception staff couldn’t speak any English and were not welcoming.

Nice beds shame about the hotel

Great if you need a few nights with crispy white sheets, hot shower and comfy beds. some rooms have great views over the Mekong.

very corporate impersonal hotel. Average buffet breakfast - a few backpackers amongst the package tour crowd. Fierce Air con which did not appear controllable. Staff had v poor language skills so difficult to arrange onward travel.

The room had breathtaking views of the river and the city and was quite large. Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Comfortable rooms with amazing Mekong River view

The rooms with Mekong River view are huge and the view is amazing. Rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Most of the staff didn’t speak any English. They were simply not able to do their job. Nevertheless. we had a nice stay.
