Very friendly host. The location was great, and it's a lovely setting. If you wanted to stay in and not go out for a meal, there was plenty of food in the unit to purchase.
The bed was a little uncomfortable at first. A hotplate would have been useful.

Nice welcome when we arrived
The shower is very poor, went cold and doesn't stay in its holder. Saw this has been a common feedback for a while and nothing has been done to improve it. Not very clean, surfaces wiped but anything beyond that hadn't been adequately cleaned. The breakfast provided was a loaf of bread, half used jams with the remnants of the last persons butter and yoghurt. Felt very cold, the heater provided was good but the floor was freezing being laminate, it really needed some extra rugs.

Very welcoming and helpful host. Lovely sheep and ducks to enjoy so close. Nice and private. Comfy bed and the room warmed up fast on a cold night.

Location was OK for a very short notice booking
It was a little cold but it was the middle of winter.
Not really a big issue.

it was peaceful, country feeling, and private
the bed could do with a better mattress I felt that the mattress on was on a lean so was uncomfortable to sleep on

Lovely little cottage on a farm like surrounding. Sheep staring at us, while enjoying a glass of wine.
All good

Easy to find, comfortable bed, quiet location, friendly and helpful owner.
Shower very dodgy, wouldn't want a child to be caught when water ran freezing one minute then boiling hot the next.
Chilly in the evening and morning, heater provided but not easy to use.

The cottage was located on a small farm, very quiet & cozy. David was very welcoming, turned the heater on for me which was very kind.
The only thing was the shower it was very hard to get in the correct position for hot water but the rest was very clean & tidy

It was nice and private, close to town but quite rural.
Unfortunately it rained which limited our experience, but we would love to return in summer.
Only a minor point, the chairs were quite basic,
A couple of cushions would have been nice.

Mmm well the host David was a very nice man , that’s about where it ends sorry .
I wish I could leave something nicer .
Pretty much everything .
It was old , outdated , uncomfortable, freezing cold with the most inadequate heater and worse of all the shower was cold with the occasional burst of warm water lasting a second .
I hate to leave such terrible feed back but when we packed up and left a night early and payed to stay somewhere else I feel it’s only fair to say why .
The breakfast was also confusing. The host showed us all the breakfast food that was there . But then there was a price list for everything taped to the fridge so we didn’t touch anything . So over all not somewhere we will visit again , but remember this is only our opinion.

The host was so welcoming and friendly. There were some friendly chickens and it had everything we needed.
An extra couple of pillows would have been nice. We didn't want to bother the host by asking for more because we did ok without the extra ones. Just when we wanted to watch a bit of tv for example, an extra pillow would of been a bonus.
