If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30. • OCCUPANCY | Our maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (ie includes both guests & visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight. • NOISE | Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. Very slow response from management to approve rental. Initially I tried to get same day rental. No spontaneity allowed..they don’t approve same-day rentals. They informed me that they had up to 24 hours to approve the rental…26 hours later rental still hadn’t been approved and we were on our way to the property.
I had to call, working around the prompts to speak to someone, to advise that I still hadn’t received approval, however, we were on our way. I was told that the only person who does these approvals was out sick, but they would work to get it approved. Very frustrating.
The property was clean. The bathroom is small. Nice remodeled kitchen. No air conditioning so the windows stay open so there is a breeze.
People at the nearby park play loud music until 10 or so. People on the beach lit campfires, and the smoke comes back into the house. Having live in San Diego I find this area continues to get more grungy every time I visit.

The location of the property was great, as it took only a few steps to get to the boardwalk and sand. When we first got into the place, there were several flies flying around in the house, which made it a bit irritating. Other than the flies, the place was overall clean and equipped with everything we needed (beach towels, beach toys, bath towels, coffee machine and filter). The garage space was as listed (extremely tight space), so I had to park my car on the street instead, where I was luckily able to find a spot. Mondays are street sweeping days so make sure you move your car by 8am or else you’ll get a ticket. One thing to keep in mind is that it’s under a flight path, so there is a lot of airplane noise starting early in the morning and ending late at night.

Location location location! This is a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with an updated kitchen and a beach view! It's one house away from the beach.
Pros:

-tons of beach toys, boogie boards and chairs available in side-yard
-nice linens with plenty of extras including extra blankets
-Neighbors were quiet during our stay
-Kitchen has all the essential appliances and utensils/pots and pans, etc.
-nice shower in the bathroom
-stacked washer and dryer in the apartment
-did I say location?! So close to the beach!
Cons:
-garage is VERY small. Unless your car is the size of a Honda Civic or smaller, it won't fit
-walls and window/door frames need a good wash-down. Lots of smudges and dust
-very few condiments in the kitchen: only salt and cinnamon. No oil or pepper
-furniture and flooring are flimsy
With a few improvements to flooring, furniture and regular deep cleanings, this beach house would be over the top amazing. As it stands, I still recommend because of its spaciousness, beach toys, comfy linens and close proximity to the beach.

Cute and comfy, literally right next to the ocean. We liked this upstairs unit with lots of windows letting in natural light. Parking was very tight but we knew that going in and still very happy to give this a 5 star rating. Appreciate the quick Fall stay, wish we could stay longer...

If this review of the top/back unit was based ONLY on the location of the property and also on how well the property is managed, it would be an easy 5 stars. Those two are excellent. and the trip was successful because of that. But if this property was located somewhere else, there are issues: no outdoor space to relax on the property, little inside space for family to gather, and the biggest issue: the space is very warm and very stuffy even when the outside temps are pleasant, and even with all windows open and five fans on. Sadly, I can not highly recommend this rental.

You'll love the location, just as advertised 1 house to the beach and short walk to Belmont Park. The place was cute and stocked enough for our group of 4. We wish it had an outdoor deck and larger parking space, but for the price and nice interior space we'd definately stay again!!

GREAT STAY
Our group of 5 had a great stay at this South Shore 3 beach home. It was well stocked, bright second floor space with lots of windows, super simple beach access, and a short walk to Belmont Park. Managers were quick to respond to questions we had after booking. The only downside is tight garage parking space.

The house was squeaky clean. There were plenty of bathing towels, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags, beach supplies (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, play toys,) we would highly recommend this property.

The location is great, walking to beach, boardwalk and plenty of eateries. Also, short drive to many other San Diego attractions. The home is a tri-plex and it was not clear we had no access to any outdoor space or deck. Home was functional and comfy. We would stay again. Family had a great time!!

Great location!
Absolutely great location. My family had a great time. The house was clean and super convenient. My only negative comment is that the air circulation is not good. Its very hot/stuffy because there are not many windows that we can open. We had to have the front door open with a fan in front of it. Otherwise everything from beds, bathroom and kitchen were fantastic!

I did however not love the fact that we found out after booking that the ground floor patio tables were not allowed to be used by the upstairs unit 😔, didn't see that in the fine print (like no a/c), but as soon as I received my booking confirmation it said we can not use the patio which had two large tables and plentiful space to share, it was a bummer but oh well. Other than that everything was great!!

We absolutely loved our time here! It's the perfect location to the beach...literally steps away. We have 3 little kids and it was great to be able to walk back to the house from the beach and use the bathroom and eat lunch! It was clean and cute and just perfect for us! Would absolutely stay again!

Perfect space for a beach weekend
Surf styles triplex was a perfect space to spend a weekend at the beach. Clean, updated and super close to the beach. There is no air conditioning but didn't need it at the beach and with multiple fans in every room (ceiling and floor fans). We had a fantastic stay!

We loved how close the rental was to the beach and local shops.

What a great home this was in an fantastic location, just like the ad describes 1 house to the ocean. Easy walk to Belmont Park. The unit was perfect for my wife & 2 children, was everything we expected and then some!

Wonderful place
The location is wonderful! The property is just as described. We had plenty of towels and the toiletries in the bathroom were an added bonus. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus!! We would stay here again for sure!

Ver nice stay
This property is in a great location! One house off the beach and a short walk to a green area next to Belmont Park. The beds are very comfortable and the place was clean. Do take note of the listing that the garage is small. Off street parking is available but be prepared to look for a while. We parked and never moved the car. But there is a market within a few blocks even though prices are high. We did not feel the need to go anywhere other than the beach! Also take note that in July, it is best to arrive closer to 3pm checkin because you need the extra time to cool down the place by opening the windows. We had a rough first night because we got in at 10 pm. But it was a great stay and the property managers answered all my questions quickly. Also be aware that this unit doesn’t have an outdoor sitting area. The tables are for the lower unit only. So be prepared to go to the beach or green area to eat outside. We were happy overall. Thanks for a great weekend!

Future travelers...you won't be disappointed! The house was clean, spacious open floorplan, all SMART TV's, comfy sofa & beds (sofa was brand new!), all the beach & kitchen amenities. Expect a speedy response from the Surf Style managers & leave the car at home because you can walk to everything. We had a blast!

superb value for what we got
Nice and open space, it was easy to gather with our family of 6. There's an oversized floor to ceiling window in the main living room that provides a lot of light. Super nice kitchen, great beachy décor touches throughout. No complaints on the beds, & both tv's (living rm & master) were large & newer with all the apps. This place was a superb value for what we got and the location.

This was mostly a great place to stay at Mission Beach.
As advertised, it is 1 house from the boardwalk & beach! A great asset!!
Be aware it is amongst closely placed beach homes & therefore a bit noisy at times.
The property was clean & well stocked (a blender would be a great addition to kitchen supplies).
There were a few ‘glitches’, including unclear instructions for entry. The unit had 2 key pads on door & it took a phone call to clarify how to use the access code! Suggest clearer instructions &/or remove old keypad not being used.
Kitchen window does not have blinds/curtains, a privacy/security issue.
Otherwise all was great & I recommend this place to anyone wanting a beach home with easy Mission Beach access!! 👍�

Responsive host, A+ location, perfect home
The home is steps from the beach. We were a short walk from delicious food & drinks, & it was easy to get in/out of the neighborhood. The house was nice & bright, open, and updated. Laundry in the unit & parking were great bonuses, though parking is tight. The hosts are super responsive and helpful. It was a perfect place for us!

Host was great at providing information about the home and nearby restaurants & activities. This place were 5 stars, price for the location is a great deal. Literally one house from the ocean! You could watch the waves breaking right from the living room :) Had everything we needed and was clean. Definitely recommend to anybody looking to vacation at the beach at a reasonable rate.
