A lovely light and clean place, welcoming and comfortable. Loved the complimentary drinks and biscuits etc.

Magic

Everything. the moment you walk through the door, you will be stunned as to how stylish fresh and airy the place feels, little touch's like bowls of sweets around for you nibble on , the stylish theme runs all through the property, bedroom large with setting area, bed comfortable, posh continental breakfast which was lovely . large pay and display carpark across from property.

Nothing. but it has made me realize how cluttered my own house is, I can feel a trip to b and q for paint and a full face lift of my living room.

Wonderful stay, would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

Comfortable room, warm throughout the night and the free amenities such as coffee and tea were appreciated.

Most beautiful room. So comfy

Absolutely best place I’ve stayed in. Met the host and he was so wonderful. The room was beautiful and so clean. Plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits. This is definitely top of my list for another stay next year

Good location and clean rooms.

Property is in a good location, really easy to access, clean and the room looks nice and welcoming. Would stay again but would want a different room.

The bathroom is too small and cramped - the door has been cut in half and put on hinges, which whilst a clever design means awkward to shut and navigate around at night whilst not trying to wake your partner and left me with bruises on arms / legs. Car parking and having to move your car two / three times a day is a bit of a pain.

The bedhead was immediately below a solid beam, which could gave been dangerous.

Although a little pricey, the family room was big enough for a family of four with young children.

The family room was big enough for a family of four and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated that there were some basic refreshments laid out downstairs and in our room.

It's a great pity that you don't offer breakfast and we were disappointed that there were so few choices for an evening meal suitable for children in the local area.

Great little guest house in Berwick, would 100 % recommend.

This place was lovely, spotlessly clean, the room was really well equipt and comfortable. I slept really well! Craig and the staff were wonderfully warm and welcoming they were happy to store my luggage for me on my last day and super friendly and helpful throughout. Great location for exploring the town and close to the cafes and restaurants.

Highly recommended guest house

The room was spacious,super clean and had everything we needed and more. The tassimo and free snacks in the communal lounge was a brilliant. The owner Craig, it a fantastic host, very chatty, giving my 2 girls a gift each and nothing is too much trouble. Lisa does an amazing job as well! Location is great! I've stopped in my fair share of guest houses and this is definitely one near the top of the list!

Fabulous rooms, a great welcome, extremely comfortable stay.

Fabulous rooms in a really lovely property. Welcoming staff and good communication before our arrival so we were able to store our bikes safely inside. The residents lounge with hot drinks and a range of biscuit snacks is a nice touch. Although breakfast is not provided on site the recommendation of Thistle Do Nicely for breakfast proved to be spot on. If you remember to mention it (we forgot) you can even get 10% discount. Though frankly the breakfast is such a good deal you don’t really need 10% off. Craig and Innes(?) were excellent hosts and ensured we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Would definitely choose PSGR again.

Good

Spacious and clean. Central to all activities.

The stairs, too, the 2nd floor, weren't ideal, but I understand that can't be helped. The rooms were very warm, and the feather bedding didn't help. Perhaps providing a fan for the room would be a good idea.

Brilliant stay. Can't wait to return

Easy to find, easy to park, excellent communication, straight forward to get in. Bedroom was brilliant, extremely clean, loved the bath and the shower. Bed was the comfiest we've stayed in. We took porridge for the morning but there is a coffee machine, orange juice and breakfast bars downstairs. Aswell as kettle, tea coffee etc in the room. With water in the fridge. Its 200 yards max to pubs. We actually stayed to go to The Maltings and there is a cut near the bank at the bottom of Street.

Slightly noisy flooring when people are walking above but wouldn't put us off returning.

Excellent accommodation. Will definitely use again if visiting that area.

Excellent accommodation and service. Particularly liked the use of a lounge with tea coffee facilities and the use of a table for eating or socialising.

Parking took a bit of organising but was free for 3 hours at a time. If we had arrived later it wouldn’t have been a problem. A bit of prior knowledge would have helped us organise ourselves.

Wonderful. I'd certainly make it my first choice.

Beautiful position and the house looks fabulous from the outside. Once in (very easy with keycode) everything looked immaculate. There was a room to the left for people to use to make drinks...coffee pods and machine... plus a number of different flavoured breakfast bars which were much appreciated. I was on the 2nd floor in a twin room under the eaves. Small window with lovely view over the rooftops. Immaculate bathroom with good shower. Bed was very comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities and I spotted a hairdryer and sewing kit. Three small drawers and a place to hang clothes. If you were staying for a week and there were two of you, then you might find it to be insufficient space. I was only there for two nights and it was perfect. Another plus point was the Netflix facility. I had great fun watching a number of programmes. I don't have this at home so it was a great extra. No breakfast is available but I went to the recommended place about five minutes away....Thistle Do Nicely. That too was immaculate and I got an enormous breakfast. It lasted me until the evening. I travelled by public transport and walked back to the railway station in about half an hour on the scenic route.

Pleasant, clean, well positioned room.

Room was fresh, clean, bright and comfortable. Shower was good and hot, the room was warm. Products plentiful and pleasant.

The breakfast snacks weren't brilliant, an actual breakfast simple but nutritional would have been excellent as part of the cost.
