Absolute gem! We only stayed over for one night but truly enjoyed it. Place has very home like feel. Breakfast was amazing, all products you would require was available. Kitchen is very well equipped. Whole place is very clean and you can tell the owners are taking great care of it. Great value for money.

peaceful idyllic location

It took me an hour to find it and it was a miracle that i found it then, only by chance finding a neighbour to tell me where to go. The postcode takes you to the National trust property which is nowhere near, and the farm has no signage at all. In fact the sign says "Livery". Then the owners did not answer the telephone, and the door was locked with a combination, and booking through booking .com there are no instructions and no mention of a combination lock. Be sure that you really know where to go before attempting this one!

Unusual to have one's own living room and kitchen/dining room. Very spacious.

it was lovely, we stayed as we were going to a wedding nearby so didn’t get to use it as much as we’d have liked. Excellent value for money, you get so much room including a separate lounge and kitchen to use.

Although we had to prepare our own breakfast the quality of produce provided was exceptional. We had freshly baked bread and duck eggs from the farm. The decor was beautiful. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

It was great to be on a working farm surrounded by beautiful countryside. We enjoyed watching the chickens, ducks and geese that roamed around as well as the comings and goings at the livery. Though the work of the farm goes on around, the apartment and the outside spaces are very peaceful and quiet. The apartment is totally private and is an ideal best-of-both worlds between self-catering (a very well equipped and spotless kitchen) and B&B (every possible breakfast option is provided). This part of Nottinghamshire is very special and Clumber Lane End is absolutely in tune with that specialness.

The communication between Alison and myself was great! Very clean and spacious.

The b and b is actually 3 miles away from the town centre so no shop very close by so just make sure you take your own supplies beforehand.
