A nice and slightly unconventional loft-style room, large and well-accessible bathroom, fine patio to view the sunrise from and to look into the stars & sky (at night). Very nice welcome cheese plate & glass of wine, uncomplicated check-in and communication with the owner living very close. Short distance only from the airport (walking possible, but not w luggage), and a beautiful fig tree in the yard.

Worst thing: We were not able to stay longer :-). For a longer stay, the kitchen area might be a bit small, but it was sufficient for us; and we would have welcomed one king- or queensize instead of two separate beds, but also survived!

Beautifully kept property with wonderful views. Very clean. Everything we needed for a perfect stay. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. The owner Maria was very accessible and attentive to all of our needs. Location was perfect for the island of Flores. Will return to stay here when I return. This island is paradise.

the house was super cozy and lovely. Maria is a great host that responded quickly to all our questions and showed us garden herbs to make tea 💕 there was lovely view from the small porch and it was a very comfortable location to explore the island. Many details in place, like a welcome snack, an umbrella, coffee pods, everything needed for laundry etc.

only small things - the pillows were a little thin, the sofa wasn’t big enough for the two of us to lounge 😄 but that was not meaningful overall.

Lack of breakfast (no such option), no air conditioner (fans are available), lighting in the apartment was not sufficient, trash bins were emptied only once (during 3 nights stay) after I met the housekeeping lady and asked her, relatively high price.

We came here on our honeymoon in the Azores, and after staying at a few very fancy hotels, this was our favorite place that we stayed. Maria was extremely communicative and fast to respond at any time. She is very sweet and kind, and gave us great recommendations. The accommodation was beautiful with an outside porch area that looked like it was out of a dream, covered in flowers, and overlooking an incredible view. The bedroom was perfect and we stayed cool with the ceiling fan. There's a perfect little kitchen and fridge filled with drinks for 1 euro each. There's a nice big living room, and a washing machine as well. We loved that it was close to the natural ocean pool and Maria offers scuba rentals.

It’s a private home with all the facilities. Owner greets you with a bottle of wine and a Portuguese cheese. The bed is very comfortable. Location is close to the airport which is very convenient. The owner is remarkable, friendly and helpful.

The owner was very welcoming and pleasant. Her recommendations helped us a lot for planning the trip in the island.

Maria was very helpful in providing any information we may have needed on the island. The women who cleaned were also very accommodating in offering to help in anything we needed.

There were a few ants in the apartment, but we were in a more rural area, so that is expected. There was some organic ant spray that we used, which did help.

The apartment had the most fabulous hammock on the deck, which had a lovely view of the sea. Spacious apartment with the bonus of a washing machine and some laundry powder provided. Very useful. Lovely to get a welcome gift of wine too. Maria was very kind to us, helping out when we couldn't get a taxi. We so appreciated her help.

It was a warm time in summer, so ceiling fans would be a useful addition.

Maria welcomed us with a warm heart and kind eyes. we were there for 3 days and loved the rustic home feel. the days were hot but the nights cooled of and we slept well.

No AC is fine but a ceiling fan would have been better than the fan we had. Maria was already looking into adding the fans.

Peaceful oasis near the airport in Flores and excellent base for exploring the rest of the island by car. The stay is perfect for those who seek for stillness and like to feel immersed in nature. We particularly enjoyed the tastefully decorated interior. The host was beyond kind, welcoming and helpful with us, even making us a wedding gift and bringing us fresh eggs and bread. Very relaxed check in and check out. We recommend & thank a lot Maria!

Flores is breathtakingly awesome and the location of Casa da Quinta allowed us to conveniently travel around the island. The guest houses our friends and we had gave us the opportunity to enjoy cook and enjoy breakfast outdoors with the views surrounding us. Maria the owner was very considerate and without asking prepared a table with a beautiful tablecloth and a vase of flowers so that we could enjoy the pleasures of Flores even more. Thank you Maria❣️

This place is perfect. Location is amazing, next to airport in the gorgeous town of santa Cruz. The place is in a gorgeous setting and Maria herself is so accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you so much Maria. The perfect host!

We spent 2 nights at Casals da Quinta. The location is great - you are literally next to the airport runway and have best seats for the show. Surprisingly, there is no annoying noise that will disturb you. We walked from the airport to the house and it took us 20 minutes. The house has very cool rustic decor with beautiful wood touch. It is well equipped with everything you need for your short/long stay. The beds were comfortable which was very important after a 20 km hike ))). Communication with Maria was easy and pleasant. We had a really good time.

The cottage was so cute and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The best part was the view of the pastures on the hill from the back porch, perfect for a meal or just relaxing. Great hot water and pressure in the shower. Maria, the owner was very helpful with getting setting us up with a taxi driver for our stay and even brought us fresh roll and cheese and crackers and wine!

The place is special and cozy. It is spacious and perfectly equipped including a washing machine, a balcony with a flower garden. The bed is comfortable and the location is great. We enjoyed every moment.

beautifully decorated studio apartment with a little patio (with a hammock!). Love all the wooden furniture, bathroom spacious and beautiful and the little kitchenette had everything we needed too! The patio overlooks a nice green hill and the sea on the other side. very peaceful location , close to airport - an easy walk from there. We didn't meet the hosts as it was contact free check in but the process to get the keys was easy and well explained and they left a little welcome treat on the table which was lovely too.

a couple of small things that could've been better although very minor, one is the sound insulation between the apartments wasn't great, luckily most guests are pretty quiet and it wasnt really a big problem, secondly it would be good to have a heated towel rail or something to dry towels and maybe clothes that get wet in the rain. we visited in early May so it was still relatively chilly and damp outside, probably not an issue in the summer.

Great location, dont let the closeness of the airport factor into your decision, 3 flights a day and done by 6pm. Good choice of restaurants nearby and easy driving access to the other area of the island. Easy parking and access. Great to chill on the balcony :-)

Accomodation was perfectly welcoming to Flores aura. Authentic farm house with spacious area! Room had a view into a cute garden with “Bali” feel and hills, also airport and sea. In the garden was a bird which always was knocking into a window to wake me up. My stay was amazing, host was lovely ans definetly, I will come back only and only there next time. Already missing the island and that special atmosphere in room ♥️ So quiet, I had good reset and obtained a lot of positive energy 🌟

It is a very spacious and fully equipped Maisonette Appartement with a terrace with a beautiful view on a cow pasture. Very quiet.

One has to be careful with open food as there are ants close by and they’ll find there way. It is nature :)

It was a wonderful stay in Casas de Quinta . Very beautiful house which has all comfortable furniture: refrigerator , washing machine , good WIFI, kitchen with everything that we should need for our comfortable stay. Maria, the owner, is very friendly and helpful woman. The house met us with nice local cheese and wine! We highly recommend this place for nice stay in Flores Island!
