Świetna lokalizacja i bardzo atrakcyjna cena, w pokoju i łazience czysto i ciepło, więc niczego więcej mi nie trzeba. Plus za dobry kontakt z właścicielem obiektu w razie problemu.

Dla niewymagających

Z mojej strony miałam dobry kontakt z właścicielem/opiekunem obiektu. Bez problemu mogłam przyjść godzinę wcześniej niż godzina zameldowania. Hostel jest w świetnej lokalizacji. Spokojnie na nogach można dojść na Stare Miasto. Atutem była lodówka w pokoju. Kuchnia jest wyposażona standardowo. Nie ma recepcjonisty, Smsowo podawany jest kod dostępu do pokoju.

Hostel wymaga w środku odnowienia. Widać, że jakieś próby odświeżenia były podejmowane. Ściany w pokoju bardzo cienkie, osobę z pokoju obok słyszałam doskonale. Przydałoby się wymienić wykładzinę. Najlepsze ubikacje są na pierwszym i ostatnim piętrze. Lepiej ze sobą zabrać rolkę papieru toaletowego, bo ten z hostelu szybko się kończy.

Nice place to stay but with awful Wi-Fi

The location is perfect. It's in the city center, the place is cozy and quiet. The building is very distinctive, so it's easy to find. I had a room with a private bathroom. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was spacy. There was a refrigerator, electric kettle, and TV in the room. There was also a shared kitchen with everything you need to prepare some meals. The private check-ins and outs are convenient.

The internet. It's just awful. The speed was terrible (Youtube struggled to play 480p, only 360p worked fine) and the connection would drop constantly. Be ready for it. It was crucial for me as I worked remotely and needed a good connection during my week's stay in this room. Fortunately, I had enough gigabytes of mobile internet to be able to work using my phone as a hotspot. The sockets were not attached to the walls properly, which was quite dangerous. The ceiling above the bathtub was too low so I could not stand up while being inside. Basically, I was forced to take a bath each time a quick shower would suffice, but I'd rather call it a nuance, not a drawback.

Exceptional

This is not the usual backpacker. Load of single and double room (from what I saw). Exceptional price. And that while not a bit of old furniture or horrendous mattress. Especially the mattress was great. All fresh and new bathrooms as well. While there was no staff over the weekend, I got easy and clear to follow instructions by text and email which room mine was, where the key would be, WIFI passwords, ... really all I ever needed. One things I have to highlight is how clean the entire hostel was. I would definitively go there again without a second of doubt.

Disappointing

The price is very affordable, compare to the rest of the accommodation in Bydgoszcz.

weird holes in the top of the shower and bedroom which made me feel as if they had hidden cameras in almost 1 month I requested clean sheets and towel twice and the second time the owner didn't even reply to my message there is a lady living/working in the building that looks like she is on drugs, she screams constantly over nothing, a lot of curse words in polish, she is speaking on her phone all night at 1:00 am and laughs, brings people over to party and have sex and i am sure the 3 floors can hear her. everyone smokes inside the building, especially in toilets so if you want to shower it's like a hotbox of smoke there are no pans, plates or glasses so cooking it's almost impossible It is a very affordable price so I am grateful for that but there are some things that are just not acceptable.

Not bad

Amazing location for the price - 20 minutes of walking to the Nova Opera, if I remember the name right. The Opera is next to the river and the places are pretty. Clean, somewhat spacious, plenty of electric sockets in the walls. Conveniently close to supermarkets and food shops. The bathroom did have warm water for washing your hands and a soap dispenser. There was toilet paper in the toilet, plus an extra unused roll in the room. The bed was very good and relaxing. The blanket was warm and soft, I fell asleep very quickly every time.

What I didn't like is that...legend has it that there is a super secret shower somewhere. I didn't find it. I had a room on the ground floor and other people who were staying there told me the other, upper floors have showers. Apparently you had to enter the men's bathroom and from there you would open some entrance to a shower. I asked if the bathroom is marked, the person said no. (The bathrooms are clearly marked on the ground floor.) Not wishing to risk barging into other people's rooms or even entering when someone is at the toilet, I just didn't look for the shower anymore. At least put signs indicating how to get there. I also sent the property a message asking where it is - this was during the evening before I left. There was no quick answer. Not a big deal, but I couldn't find a trash can in the room. I just left a paper bag full of the papers I wanted to throw away, plastic bottles and metal cans.

Great location and value for money!

Very good location and clean facilities. Friendly staff and owner, always happy to help. I had a add hock request regards my room location and the owner very quickly dealt with my request to get my room ready in timely manner. I will definitely recommend this place for the service and value of the money.

The bed wasn't to comfortable. To soft mattress and the pillow was not comfortable. For one night sleep this bed is fine, but if someone is staying for couple of days more or longer, then investigating in good mattress and comfortable pillow would be beneficial for this room.

Ok place to stay for one might

Nice building, good room equipment, quite central, for cheap money. Easy check-in by door code, fridge in the room.

Poor Wifi (connection was possible but soon no traffic) as was the kitchen equipment, not even a towel, one fork against eight knives, no plates. Hmmm ...

i think more direction would have been great,there was no staff around at any point during my stay and communication through messaging was a bit delayed but all in all they responded and I got what I needed

Gross, filthy and neglected.

It is located 10 min away from where I needed to be and that's the only good thing about this place.

No receptionist behind the dest at all times. No toilet paper in the bathrooms. You literally have to carry the toilet paper roll with you every single time when you want to use the toilet. The roll is provided in the room. Not enough kitchen equipment! I had to eat my soup from a mug. There are only two pots to cook meals. Everything sticky and filthy. Cracked glass on the front door like someone punched it. No soap in the bathrooms. Had to carry my shower gel with me. This place is a disgrace. I felt dirty just by being inside.

Not again!

I chose this place for the central location. It is close to the Pomeranian Philharmonics (2 minutes walking) and the Opera Nova (12 minutes walking).

The place is rather neglected. Already the glass of the entrance door is broken. In the room there is no place for your clothes. I had to place everything on the floor! No hooks either to hang your ovvercoat on. The extremely low water pressure in the bathroom could only be accepted under war like circumstances. In the kitchen I used the microwave and the water warmer. However, there are no two similar plates in the kitchen! The plant in the window has not beeen irrigated for quite a while so I did it. Shortly, this is a worn out place from the communist times but a lot of improvement could be done if the owners were interested, however, they do not seem to be. It is a pity.

Cheap and quite comfy, but it could have been better when it comes to the little things

The hostel is located close to the city centre and there are a couple of restaurant and shop options close to it. Despite the lack of thereof in the description I was given clean sheets and towels for personal use. The prices were very affordable for single person stay.

The bathrooms were common and they lacked in common toilet paper (so I had to carry around the roll I was provided with the room) and they were missing hangers for the toilet paper, towels and clothes (the latter could have been useful in the shower).
