Comfy cosy bath tub of dreams

Huge room, really comfy bed and a bath tub that was so welcome during a cold time in Cusco. Felt very luxurious especially for the price. Coco tea and other teas always available, and the whole place felt really safe. Good location too.

Buena ubicación, algunos detalles que mejorar

La ubicación es muy buena, la habitación que nos dieron también me gustó mucho era demasiado grande (Era la Intikancha y en general bastante tranquila. Trato en general amable.

El desayuno no me encanto falta variedad. Lo que si no me agrado fue que en el cereal hubiera hormigas, se le comento a la señorita que estaba atendiendo y nos dijo que como el hotel era "amigable con el ambiente" no usaban ningún tipo de pesticidas, se llevó el recipiente con el cereal yo creo que ya lo traía o viene desde la caja o cocina porque era lo único que tenía hormigas. No había ni un "caminito" en las demás cosas de la mesa o cercanas. Ojalá pudieran tener más cuidado con eso. Otra cosa es que un día nuestro tren se atrasó y llegamos casi a las 11 de la noche, tardamos muchísimo en que nos pudieran abrir la puerta o nos escucharan, tuve que llamar para avisar que estábamos tocando desde hace un rato. Otro detalle en la habitación es la luz, para una habitación tan grande y solo tener 2 focos es muy poco y más cuando o es "toda" la luz o nada, estaría genial alguna lampara pequeña, ya que en mi caso no todos dormíamos a la misma hora y para los demás era molesto tener la única luz principal o quien estaba despierto estar a "oscuras". Al llegar me cobraron otros impuestos que no estaban marcados en mi reserva, se que esta el precio y el extra de impuestos así lo tenía contemplado, pero a la hora de pagar fue un poco más aparte de que solo se podía pagar en efectivo :S

Acogedora

El alojamiento bien ubicado, la habitación limpia a pesar que era con vista interna, el patio era lindo. El joven de recepción muy amable.

Que el pago con cualquier tarjeta tenía un costo adicional del 5% así sea con tarjeta de débito igualmente aplicaba el adicional del 5%. Tampoco me gustó que la señal de internet no era buena al menos para claro y bitel, solo se podía acceder a internet por el wifi del hotel pero a veces llegaba débil y lenta la señal.

Wonderful

The service manager together with the serving staff team is great. I received a lot of help during my 4 night stay there. Especially for visitors who don’t speak the language, it takes a bit to understand and work things out. Location is 5 stars in my opinion - easy navigation (few mins walk to reach the Main Street Ave de Sol there s everything you need.

Loud rooms old broken rooms and no breakfast

It looked nice first of all with nice decorations. The location was good.

You could hear everything from outside even from next room, our room has flooded and smelled like poop but they have came just to dry the water - did not offer change of room or any refund. You could see strong light from the hall until very late night. There was loud noise of water flushing all day and all night. Breakfast was horrible - no food, no clean dishes or cups, no tables to sit at as all 4 tables got fulled and people have had sit there until end of Breakfast. When finally table cleared up they started to clean up the "food plates" which were empty and not refilled.

Todo, la ubicación era perfecta, cerca de todo pero ubicado en un sitio tranquilo que permitía descansar luego de los tours, las habitaciones muy amplias, la atención del personal es genial siempre atentos a ayudarme en todo lo que necesite

Todo me gustó, lo único que podrían mejorar es el desayuno porque solo hay una persona atendiendo y en ocasiones es demorado el temas de los huevos.

Le petit déjeuné est copieux et très bon.

Pas d’eau chaude seulement tiède, décevant car annoncé comme hôtel spa. Insonorisation des chambres catastrophique. (On a pu entendre nos voisins de chambre se plaindre de l’eau froide…) Problème d’électricité et aucune solution apportée pour se doucher ou avoir de la lumière (chambre sans fenêtre).

buena ubicación en cuzco

Un lugar muy bien ubicado, tiene camas muuuuy grandes y confortable, nos hospedamos en la habitación delux que es duplex, tiene 3 camas de tamaño king muy comodas, el desayuno era tipo bufet, buena variedad de frutas.

creo que le faltó un poco de aseo al baño.

INCOMODIDAD

Ubicación, la habitación que nos tocó, Intikancha es bonita, como se ve en la foto.

El baño es PÉSIMO. No había donde poner las toallas ni el papel higiénico. Ni donde poner nada. Había que ir desnudo a la ducha porque no tenías donde dejar ni tu ropa interior. La ducha no tiene puerta. Tuvimos que colgar las toallas húmedas en un mueble de la habitación. Cusco es una ciudad de excursiones, uno llega cansado y quiere darse una buena ducha, cómodamente. Un hotel boutique no puede tener ese baño. El inodoro está separado de la ducha y está en un escalón más alto que el piso, con lo cual es incomodisimo. Ahí tampoco hay donde colgar la toalla de manos, que tuvimos que pedir expresamente porque no habían puesto y la colgábamos en la perilla de la puerta. No hay ascensor y aunque solo son 3 pisos y la habitación estaba en el segundo, llegabas al segundo piso y luego habían unas gradas altas hasta la habitación misma, como un segundo piso y medio y luego de esto, otras gradas para acceder a donde estaban las camas. No entiendo como el Instituto de Defensa Civil permite que se hagan esos parches en los inmuebles, con el fin de tener una habitación más que ofrecer. No pongan hotel boutique si no saben qué significa realmente. Y Booking debería revisar que las fotos reflejen la realidad. Las toman desde ángulos que amplían los espacios, lo que resulta en una publicidad engañosa. El servicio del desayuno. No reponían lo que se acababa.

Perfecto

La ubicación es central en cusco y mejor si en el itinerario incluye machupicchu con incarail, muy cerca del local de salida del bus. Las habitación es muy amplia, con calefacción y tina, gran vista. El personal muy amable y dispuesto a colaborar con los planes turísticos que uno lleve a cabo.

Very pleasant surprise

Very pleasant surprise. We had mixed feelings first based on the reviews but it was better than we expected. At least our room which was a duplex on the top floor. I can see how the place can be noisy sometimes because of the old building but top floor duplex was perfect and quiet. Depends which room you book I guess. Main advantage is location right in the middle of historic downtown, next to Coricancha church. Our stay was perfect and we have no complains.

Not enough tables in the breakfast area for all the guests.

Would be perfect with heating. Cuzcoin July is extremely cold.

Comfortable and nice staff, very helpful. Their blankets are super cozy.

Limited number of power sockets and no air conditioning or heating. Radiators are provided on request but Cuzco in July is FREEZING.

quiet to sleep, good location.

middle of remodeling, breakfast area without plates, cups, had to ask many times. No staff to help. Was charged more than original booking. Maybe in the past it was better….. no eggs, only asking they prepare them for you and take forever because lack of staff only one girl doing everything, she needed help.

Disappointing

Staff was very helpful and location was great.

Hotel was under refurbishing. It was very dirty in the common areas, given the works taking place. The space for breakfast was very small and uncomfortable. The food was just okay. The room was very large and beautiful, but the shower had very little pressure and there was too much light, making it hard to sleep a bit late in the morning. The bath tub was very comfortable.

Great space for famiky and great cost for awesome location.

Amazing space for our family in the family suite. Three floors, huge beds, over 1k square feet two bathrooms full shower plus tub. Property is a ten minute walk from everywhere you want to be!

We are from Florida so no heat in the rooms and especially the bathroom and space heater totally ineffective was a little challenging. For the cost and location though we were okay wearing extra socks and layers!

I love the tub and having a portable heater. The breakfast was good with the addition of eggs, chilaquiles and guacamole

Good place to stay away from noise

Finally a hotel in Cuzco without noisy street sounds and sounds of early wakening neighbours! The two floor apartments was just perfect. Yeah, they could do better in cleaning the sheets and also the bathtub drain smelled badly, but one can forgive this when enjoying the calm enviroment of this place. Stuff super helpful.

Hotel located in a perfect position, beautiful room and true to the pictures

the room are big and clean, the hotel is located in a perfect position, the shower is great and the bed is super comfy.

The staff should learn how to do their job. No attention to the costumers whatsoever, not at all attentive at breakfast (the food was almost gone when we arrived and we paid for a breakfast that basically we didn’t eat), then they asked just to a couple out of 4 groups seated if they wanted omelette for breakfast. We asked for change of money (50 soles not an incredible amount) and they refused .. we literally saw them counting money 30 seconds before my request. Few times when we arrived they left us there waiting when they were chatting. Not impressed.

Modern luxuries in an ancient neighborhood.

I love the area. It’s by qoricancha which was the main Incan temple in cusco, so it’s surrounded by really fine old stonework. The amenities themselves were quite nice. The shower was the best I’ve seen in Peru after living here for 3 years and the beds were large and comfortable. I can definitely recommend it.

Honestly I liked everything.
