week end culturel et sportif à Arles en famille

très bel appartement, très bien situé nous avons posé la voiture à proximité de l'appartement ( gratuit) ce qui nous permis de visiter Arles sans prendre notre véhicule. Petit restau sympa à proximité, avec un coup de cœur pour le brunch chez Mazette vraiment délicieux et à moins 5 min à pied . Logement idéal pour profiter d'Arles pour une nuit et plus.

Very good

Very nice and clean apartment in a quiet neighbourhood near the historic centre, just by walking around 10 minutes. Easy finding free parking really close to the apartment. Really close is supermarket and bakery, also.

There were just 2 big towels , no towel for face and hands . There were no shampoo / shower gel .

Perfect place for staying if visiting Arles

Very beautiful apartment, nicely decorated, close to the center, near the river. Had everything that someone with a baby/toddler might wish for.

No major complaints.

Great place to stay within easy walking distance of the centre of Arles- would definitely recommend

Air conditioning was great and everything in the apartment was comfortable, tasteful and beautifully kept Good free parking right outside Clear communication from our host and it was really convenient to have a key code for checking in and out

Clean and comfortable apartment

The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable and well kitted out with appliances. It was really hot in Arles high 30’s so the air con was a relief. It was an easy walk to all tourist attractions.

The neighbourhood is very dirty and run down so was a bit concerned when we first arrived but soon realised that most of Arles is in similiar condition. Hard to find a parking spot.

Attention to a few details such as mentioned here would have added to our enjoyment.

Location convenient for sites and attractions in Arles. Boulangerie/Patisserie just below the property, medium sized Intermarché two minute walk. Pleasant studio apartment with good size kitchen/dining/lounge room, a double bed room, and shower/wc. Good washing machine, cooker and fridge/freezer. Large screen TV capable of receiving Netflix etc. from smartphone or tablet. Heating effective (we stayed in December).

Hand over of keys not well organised. Although we had notified the time of our arrival, Damien e-mailed us on the day we were travelling to Arles, and we did not see his message. We had three different addresses for the property (although its was obvious they were close together) and after arriving at what turned out to be the right address there was nothing to indicate we were in the right place. Eventually we telephoned Damien and he came to let us in after about 10 minutes. Bed was not especially comfortable - synthetic duvet cover, soggy pillows. We would have appreciated a hand towel in addition to the two mediums sized bath towels provided. No corkscrew!

Great apartment with easy access to old town Arles

The apartment is nicely decorated and well equipped Location is good as it is pretty quiet despite easy access to the town It was very clean and tidy Well equipped for kids with baby cot, high chair and toys available

Coffee machine was not working properly but it was replaced within half a day once reported Had to wait a bit for a checkin and the checkin lady did not speak a single word English - but she was still very friendly and we managed pretty well Not a lot of storage for the luggage

Great flat for a stay in gorgeous Arles

excellent location, clean, comfy and decorated with taste. the sofa bed is super comfortable - that’s always a bonus!

only thing I’d say is that if the neighbors are noisy in the corridor, you can definitely hear them… but the windows are well soundproofed so no noise from the road.

Less than what we expected

Excellent location. Spacious well equipped apartment.

Extremely hot inside. Air-conditioner in lounge has no impact on bedroom. Very noisy - the apartment is next to the main road. Parking is a lottery. All I want to say about the host is that he is less than friendly.

Superb

We arrived much later than expected and the owner had someone waiting for us to hand over the keys. The place is very clean and comfy, location is superb, just next to the river and the parking was very easy. It was very nice for the owner to have toys prepared for kids, and, especially, as a Chinese, it was very heart-warming to be able to find chopsticks in the kitchen, I had some instant noodles with them :).

The apartment itself is ok, everything’s clean, bed linen and towels are fresh and smell good. So it really corresponds to most reviews you may see.

Check in may be tricky. Although the description says you may check in at 15:00, it may not happen in reality. The host advised it was possible for him to provide us with a key at 17:00 as long as he couldn’t because of a job. We arrived at 17:00 and waited in the street outside for another 40 minutes for the host to appear. This is really the first time in 10 years I wait somebody for check in. No apologies, just an angry look from the host because I dared to call him. I see 2 solutions to avoid it in future: change check in time in description or provide self check in.

The host was 4 hours late, and very late and rude in his communications about this. He did not follow up when we left and forgot something in the apartment. We never received the forgotten items.

Charming place, the decor is simple but stylish. Short, pleasant walk over the bridge into town.

It could use a few lamps to soften the lighting.

Lovely flat and host. The flat had everything we needed for a short stay in Arles

Location was perfect, just a short walk into the city. Flat was clean, comfortable and spacious

Perfect

Great location..well equipped..very comfortable...bakery right downstairs for fresh banquettes and croissants..grocery store about a 3 minute walk. Would recommend to my friends.
