Everything. Location is awful. The photo of the building entrance on the web site was misleading as it wasn’t the actual entrance. On arrival I was greeted by a bunch of drunken, homeless men outside. I had to carry 23kg of luggage to the fifth floor by myself as there’s no lift ....... & no help. On booking, the host warned that in this type of studio flat there may be no additional sound insulation. Additional to what I’m not sure, as it was none existant. I’m no builder but the division between adjoining rooms may just as well have been a curtain. I barely slept the whole time I was there due to the sexual activities in adjoining rooms. It became so unbearable I had to leave earlier than planned and find alternative accommodation. Services, water, electricity, internet, were interrupted and when I called the host her reply was, “well that’s Ukraine”! I’ve stayed in many places in Kharkiv but nothing compares to this. Please do yourself a favour & do NOT stay here.
