Good stay before head to Maria Island

Very friendly and helpful host. Excellent breakfast. I likes the welcome drink and snack. Room is clean, the garden is peaceful.

Lovely location, great host

The location was perfect - close to the beach and beautiful walks; also convenient for the Maria Island Ferry. The room and facilities were everything we wanted, and the host was very attentive. The veranda and gardens were beautiful and we were visited each evening by a wallaby much to our delight. High recommend

Comfortable accommodation with easy access to Triabunna

We stayed here only one night, using this accommodation as an easy way to get to Triabunna to do the Maria Island Cruise, which requires an early start. It was a very good choice. Mary, the host, is super friendly. The property had everything we needed. It was quiet and we enjoyed the local wildlife.

A fabulous B&B in a garden setting

Very comfortable and clean, with a private outdoor area. Very quiet, so I slept well. I’m looking forward to staying there again

Delightful, relaxing overnight stay with a garden view to die for. :)

Mary was the perfect hostess, we arrived Christmas Eve and enjoyed the most yummy breakfast including some Christmas crackers for fun. Very relaxing outlook after a long drive, wallabies, rabbits and birdlife just outside our window made it magical. Lovely artwork, variety of tea, little treats and a Christmas card, outside courtyard was delightful (especially to enjoy breakfast in the morning sunshine)

Nice comfortable stay with cooked breakfast

Nice large room with bathroom and nice cooked breakfast. Large garden to walk around and the odd wallaby hopping around. We enjoyed the stay.

The house is a little far from the the centre of town and everything shuts early for dinner

Comfortable and friendly staff.

Enjoyed the wildlife on the grazing on the lawn. Comfortable and quiet.

A little dark as it is on the lower floor.

I could have stayed for days .A lovely ,warm welcoming place with gorgeous gardens, birds and wallabies .Only a short walk to the beach too. Mary is an exceptional hostess . Highly recommend

Size of room and surrounding gardens.Supplied food.

Proximity to owners upstairs, we could hear them walking around, lack of kitchen facilities. Lack of security, only a key for a security door was provided.

Exceptional bed and breakfast from a delightful host.

A lovely warm welcome from Mary. Very spacious room with great facilities. Excellent cooked breakfast with home grown/made produce. Quiet with nice outlook over the garden from room and patio. Great communication.

Owner of the property was very nice and easy to get on with.

Very good

The nice garden and the very tastefull breakfast. Mary was a great host and she took good care about our wellbeing.

The room was a bit dark due to the patio. As we are light sleepers, it is a bit noisy from upstairs. Probably just our "problem"!!

Quality accommodation in lovely setting.

Amazing place to stay. Warm welcome, gorgeous room looking out to lawn with wallabies and birds, fantastic breakfasts, wide range of quality teas and coffees, comfortable bed and nice, clean bathroom. Short walk to beach and restaurants. Just fabulous!

Didn't like leaving, could happily have stayed for a few more days.

Relaxing, comfortable enjoyable

Hosts always keen to oblige with any reasonable request and always check if there is anything needed. Breakfast was as yummy as it always is, freshly laid eggs scrambled perfectly with little extras like grilled tomato, mushroom etc. Served on the porch with a view of the garden, what better start to the day could one have? I find the bed very comfy with bedding to suit all weathers. As a frequent visitor, it would come as no surprise that I really like this place.

Our hostess was most welcoming. The facilities were very nice. The beds were comfortable. The breakfasts were good and wholesome. It was not far to go to find a restaurant for an evening meal.

would absolutely recommend staying at Mary & Brian’s beautiful b&b

Room was large, with all amenities and bed extremely comfortable. Superb breakfast homemade by Mary, who is the most attentive host with many nice touches (chocolates, fresh fruit, lovely thank you note!). Orford is a great base to visit Maria Island (10 mins drive to Triabunna wharf).
