FLEXIBLE CANCELATIONS include a 100% no questions asked refund 30 days or more before your stay, and a refund of all nights and fees when we are able to re-book if you need to cancel within the 30 day window before check-in. 5 STAR CLEAN! We take cleaning between guests very seriously and perform an enhanced superior clean between guests which includes washing all linens and blankets in hot water as well as cleaning all surfaces and high touch points with sanitizer and disinfectant. Primary Guest must be 25 or older. Upstairs you will find a complete kitchen including dishwasher as well as a cozy living room with a 65" UHD TV sporting Roku. FREE NETFLIX AND HULU: All of your favorite streaming services are available including paid accounts on both HULU and NETFLIX as well as 100s of free channels to choose from (or log into your own accounts) Downstairs is a wonderfully private KING Bed in the bedroom and a private bath. Although the unit is small (450 Square) it is well appointed and does not feel cramped. Private parking is available right next to the unit. This unit is part of a larger 3 unit property but is private and exclusive to the guests. Come and enjoy the nightlife of Old Colorado City or Colorado Springs, the Rocky Mountains nearby or favorite tourist spots such as the NEW Cog Railway to the top of Pikes Peak or the Seven Falls Adventure Park. World Class Restaurants are just steps away and local flavor is always available. PETS are allowed with an additional Pet fee of $25 per-pet-per-stay (MAX 2 Pets, Owner approval required prior to stay - Accepting of pet fee by owner constitutes approval. Please note: Due to Insurance Requirements We do not accept bookings where the Primary Guest is under 25 yrs of age. Stay was absolutely fabulous. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. Got in late and needed assistance getting in. My fault totally! Im technology challenged. And hosts were completely gracious. And helpful. Would definitely stay here again. I would totally recommend this spot. Both dog friendly and 420 friendly! What could be better.

We had the experience as an earlier guest in that the cleaning fee is way too high. There is no cleaning that seems to be done before you arrive. The dishes from previous renter were still in dishwasher. It appears the cleaning is done by each renter, not the owner.
The pet deposit is stated to be free in the VRBO site. When I pointed this out I was still charged a pet fee. Safety is a major concern. If we didn’t have our dogs to alert us we would have found other arrangements. We slept with windows open as no smoke or fire detectors. There are bare outlets and the license to rent is expired from several years ago. There is no railing for the basement steps and the front porch and yard lighting do not work. I just can’t say enough about how disappointing it is to see there are fellow property owners who are in this for the money only. I don’t think we were their concern, our money was. The porches were not even swept and the rugs were worn. We own rental properties and this is a shame. How can an owner sleep at night knowing that in their own yard there are lives being endangered.

It was a cute 1 bedroom VRBO. The location was convenient, which made it easy to get to all our destinations.

This small house was great for the wife and I, you might be able to get a few more in, but you would probably really have to like them. It was extremely close to a wide variety of the local attractions, so it made it much easier to get out and do as opposed to sit in and think about. I would definitely recommend this place for couples who are looking to get out and enjoy what Colorado Springs has to offer.

We had a wonderful time visiting Colorado. Stayed at the lively little place called the Love Shack. It was perfect for us. Nice little homely feeling and close to all the good stuff in the springs and manitou. Would definitely stay there again

This property was perfect for what we were looking for. It was nicely appointed and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the private gazebo and I loved walking my King Charles Caviler on the Midland Trail. I would recommend this property to anyone!!

Having been a VRBO owner, I expected this to be 100% VRBO booking & a trustworthy homeowner however, this was not the case! (Pictures very deceptive & (“professionally enhanced) Payment appears to be directly w/VRBO but it’s owners own payment system(??). Upon check-in furnace not functioning & loud, loud within 5 ft of bed. Notified H/O not acceptable & checked out within 12 hrs, as freezing. Owner not happy & stated I needed to pay (2) nights regardless. I was not waiting around for repair! Owner rude & stated refund would be issued minus (2) night mandatory stay. Contacted VRBO as refund never issued and fraudulent representation. Impossible to speak to U.S. representatives:(

Perfect location to everything we wanted to do! We did have some issues with the furnace banging & making noises all night. If you are a large human I probably wouldn't recommend. But overall, it was great for us & our dogs!

The perfect little escape! The house has everything you would need and a cute little gazebo with grass area for the dogs. Private. The property manager lives next door - should you ever need anything! The owner was quick to answer when we had a question about the heater. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
It’s very close to almost everything you would want to visit…garden of the gods (20 min), manitou Springs (15ish), the outlet malls (about an hour). There’s lots of shops and quaint restaurants nearby.

Would definitely stay at this cute little place again. The description is accurate and was perfect for my husband and I to have a little separation after staying in hotel rooms for a couple of weeks. Kitchen had everything we needed and living room sofa had recliners built in that made for excellent TV watching. Was at first worried about the basement bedroom but had sunlight streaming in and was cozy. Also loved the Old Colorado City strip with restaurants and cute shops.

This property is great if you don’t mind cigarette smoke. I decided to book this property heavily based on the fact that it was supposed to be non smoking inside. Unfortunately, shortly after check in, the horrible smell of cigarette smoke become overwhelming especially with an infant child. I contacted the property owner and he basically said I was lying. I have no reason to state the house smells of cigarettes if it didn’t. Not to mention having to find somewhere else to stay on so short notice, which was very tough. The owner had no concern for the situation and denied the whole time…horrible so I would not recommend this property if cigarette smoke is an issue for you.

We visited early August 2021. Very pleased with accommodations and fast response from owner. We arrived in town a couple hours before our official check in time, they allowed us an early check in. Very clean and comfy. Bed was wonderful! Little gazebo spot was awesome to sit and enjoy mountain views. Very nice little spot. Just 2 blocks from colorado ave fun spots! Able to safely walk to many areas. 5 stars!

We had a wonderful time at Venus! My husband and I brought our two big dogs along as well. They house is so cute and the use of space is very clever! The bathroom is a bit small, lacking some head room. Neither of us is taller than 5’5” so it wasn’t a big deal, it maybe an issue for talker people. The bed and sheets were comfortable and very clean. The couch had nice recliners on both ends with a great sized tv, perfect for relaxing after a long hike! The kitchen had everything you’d need (including blender!) without feeling cramped. The outside space was so lovely! Nice gazebo with comfortable chairs to enjoy some coffee and pastries in the morning. The outdoor space is fenced in and very private. It’s a little small for large dogs (they can’t do more than their business) but there’s a great dog park not 10 minutes away for letting them stretch their legs!

This property is ok and we had a decent stay for a last minute booking. The basement ceiling/bathroom ceiling are really low the bathroom is almost not functionable for tall people. My husband is 6’3 and had a heck of a time. The listing is described as small/450 ish Square feet, but it felt really small and closed in. The door lock was also a huge hassle it never worked properly for us and we have the code door locks at home maybe it needed batteries, never lit up or worked the first you put in the code. The area of town wasn’t good either it’s loud and you can here everything (cars, talking, dog barking). Not what I expected from reading the reviews.

Place was very clean and the check in process was seamless, me and my husband are both very tall so we did have to crouch within the property but I couldn’t of ask for a more cosy stay. Loved it and if we ever get a chance to vaca here again I would be keeping this place in mind.

Perfect spot for two. Nice gazebo outside. A few additional chairs in the gazebo would be nice. Within walking distance to Old Colorado City
