We are linked with "THE NAUTICAL INN OF LAKE GENEVA" which is located in downtown Lake Geneva. More pics at listing 653808 We are regulated by the City of Lake Geneva. Licensed and legal short term vacation rental. No worries about complaints from neighbors for renting just a "weekend". Private parking. 2 Bedroom cottage (2nd queen bed in studio area) has a galley kitchen. 2 queen beds and a sectional couch. Central Air-conditioning and Central Heating. Private deck and yard with fire pit. We provide all linens, blankets, pillows and towels for bathrooms. Cable TV WIFI and DVD player. Room for a boat available. No prom parties No pets There is a ramp to access the cottage for a wheel chair and the bathroom is oversized for a cottage (3 foot wide door). Wheel-chair accessible bath but just a shower, no tub. Please refer to the rental agreement for refunds. Refunds are possible if I can rerent the same time, terms and price. You are reserving a cottage and all advertising is blocked once you reserve so please be sure. Being a resort destination, I cannot automatically accept a Sat as a check-in, check-out date without paying the weekend rate. Special arrangements can be made so please call or email first. *Separate rental agreement with owner may be required.

Great Place
The location is amazing. Short walk to the lake and downtown. The property was cozy and clean. A stove would have been nice for cooking but we just ended up using the grill. Overall great place for a weekend getaway.

We had a great time in this cozy house. We are a family of 5 with little kids and it was just perfect. It is a safe place for kids with a huge backyard. We enjoyed location, fires in backyard, brand new grill, and a warm house. Tony was great about communication. Sure we will remember this place to come back

Our stay at the cottage was absolutely fantastic! Affordable, clean, cozy, and only a short drive from some of our favorite spots. Tony was incredibly helpful and kind. We're eager to return!

This is a cute little cottage that was in the perfect location for our needs. All-in-all, it was a fine home-base for our exploration of Lake Geneva and the area.

My wife and I stayed here for our Anniversary. The host, Tony, was awesome! Great communication and he let us check in early so that we could enjoy the entire day in downtown Lake Geneva. We walked downtown in 10-15 minutes several times. It was great! The Lake, Parks, Shops, Bars and restaurants. The cabin was quaint and tucked away with a cool back porch. Perfect place to chill out. We will be back!

Our main activity during this pandemic period was walking....10 miles from Fontana back to Lake Geneva. The cottage has a television and presumably cable and DVD. It would be useful for luddites like myself to provide some simple instructions for use. The owner was attentive, and probably would have talked me through the process if I’d cared enough to ask. Overall a good stay...I never give a 5 star review, and the only thing preventing a 4 star was the lack of a complete kitchen and the simplicity of the bathroom. Recommended.

Three Generations Girls Trip
The cottage was just as described and perfect for me, my daughter & granddaughter for a short weekday trip. It's located close to the beach and downtown. The owner was very attentive, easy to communicate with and open to suggestions as to how to make our visit better. Hope to return.

Cute little cottage near downtown lake Geneva. Had all the amenities we needed and owner had some wood for us to use in the pit which was nice. Communication with owner was great and checkin process was a code which was a nice quick way to get in.

36 hour vacation
We had a great time staying in this charming cottage just blocks away from the lake. We loved sitting on the porch with our morning coffee. It is a lovely, quiet getaway for two to four persons. Tony was very accommodating and helpful. We hope to come back again soon! Thanks again, Tony, for your hospitality!

Tony was so welcoming and accommodating, we felt at home right away. He apologized for the work that had just been done and wanted to know if there was anything at all we needed. This cottage was clean and warm, a new furnace just installed and it made a real difference. I will return. Thank you Tony.

Absolutely Adorable Cottage, Great Owner!
I stayed here when I had some friends staying in the main house. It is a very nice little cottage. Perfect for a couple or small family! Tony, the owner was great. I left my phone in the cabin, his cleaning crew located the phone, and they were both great about helping me get it back. I can't say enough about the great experience I had with this rental.

Cozy cottage super close to downtown and the lake
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Lake Geneva because the downtown and the lake are both super close. Also, the place has a very cabin/cottage feel, which is exactly what we were looking for. Tony was very accommodating and was also very responsive when we had questions. I highly recommend this place.

Such a sweet little cabin tucked away just outside of town. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. Tony was very accommodating, we’ll definitely be back!

Family bonding under adversity
The cabin location is very close to downtown Lake Geneva albeit no particular view. The property host and his wife are pleasant and communicated well. The furniture and fixtures are of good quality. Important to note that "kitchen" means a sink, a microwave, and 2 small dorm room type refrigerators - no oven. We arrived with food and intent to make full meals. This isn't possible at this cabin. Also I don't recommend for cold weather. There was no thermostat and it took a full 24 hours of space heater and boiling waters on a hot plate for any humidity to get the indoor temp to 65. Also - it's important to note that one of the queen beds is actually part of the same space as the living area. We all learned to get along and survive for 3 days in unexpected conditions.

It was what we needed for a short stay. One thing to note is that if you need bowls or anything for a salad, best to buy one of those salads in a bowl. We had to improvise a bit, but we made do.

Just right cottage.
Just returned home from a great weekend in Lake Geneva for my niece's non-wedding celebration...she got married in June. The cottage was just the right size for the five of us. It was so easy to locate the cottage. So easy to get around in Lake Geneva. Even though the weather wasn't what we hoped for the cottage was just right. I would make one suggestion for future visitors. Please put something darker over the window in the bedroom. Once the sun was up, it was nearly impossible to sleep next to that window.

My wife and I planned a short vacation to Lake Geneva but didn't want to stay in a hotel. We wanted to relax, visit the beach, take a boat tour, visit the shops in town, visit the Observatory in Williams Bay, and just plain RELAX. Mission accomplished!
We found this property while searching on VRBO - looking for the dates we wanted, a reasonable rate, and simple, but comfortable accomodations. This is a nice property with one bedroom, a second bed (queen?) at the end of the living room, one bath (shower - no tub), small kitchenette, and a small (4 person) round kitchen table. It is clean and in great condition. We were very comfortable.
The "cabin" is only a few blocks away from the lakefront or to all the shops in town (maybe a 10 minute walk). There is a mini-golf facility across the street, but we didn't get a chance to play (our next stay!). It is next door to a small motel, but the cabin was very quiet and private. We wouldn't have known the motel was next door if we hadn't seen it from the street.
As you will see on the other reviews, Tony is a conscientious and responsive property owner. He and I texted or called back and forth several times. There were no issues with our stay - he just wanted to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We've stayed at other VRBOs (and other similar arrangements) and have had differing experiences with the owners. Tony is one of the really good ones!
