Located in Healy, this lovely condo for $294 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. The Taiga House is located in the forest just north of Denali National Park. Once a spacious B&B known as "The Grand View" it has been remade into a family home with two vacation rentals. Our three bedroom, second floor residence is attached, yet private, with an entrance and yard of it's own, amazing views of the local mountains scenery and abundant charm. Our studio apartment is located on the ground floor, under our 3 bedroom rental. With a entrance of it's own. It sleeps two, with one queen bed, full bath, living room/ dining and a fully equipped kitchen plus a washer/dryer.

Stayed 3 nights. Nice and quiet, very clean. The top of the line appliances all look brand new and the shower is fabulous. Nice warm, quiet, reliable Toyo heat kept the temperature exactly where I set it with no fluctuations. Todd and Julie are wonderful hosts, swapped a couple stories with Todd. I'll definitely be staying there again when I'm in the neighborhood.

We loved this little studio apt for the time we spent exploring Denali! Everything was as expected from check in (very easy) to the cleanliness of the unit. It was about a 12 minute drive to the entrance of the park which was also away from the "hustle" of Denali village. We loved the peaceful vibe and the ability to make a few meals at "home". The bed was super comfortable which made it easy to sleep in. If your looking for a place to stay while in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to book this place. Todd and Julie, thank you for creating a place for visitors to get a taste of living in AK.

Perfect distance to Denali and one of the nicest places we stayed on our trip. Todd greeted us and offered suggestions for hiking and seeing the Mountain. We plan to come back to see Denali and would want to stay here again!

The studio rental was amazing! It was clean, well put-together, and had a lot to offer for a small space. We knew we were in the right place when we were greeted by two happy dogs as we pulled in the property. Awesome to have a kitchen, washer/dryer for after a day on trails, awesome relaxing shower, and super comfy bed. Close to town and Denali for the day trips. Felt very private even though it's attached to other units. Owners stopped in to check in, but left us to ourselves - and made sure we knew that they were there if we needed anything. Well worth the cost, and a beautiful property. Walking trail in the back was a great bonus. Stay here - you'll love it!

We had a fabulous four night stay at the Taiga 2 Studio and wished we had booked it for a full week. This place had everything we wanted, including a great little custom kitchen with everything we needed to cook as if we were at home. The bed was very comfortable and everything inside was first rate and super clean.
Outdoors was a very unexpected surprise with flowers galore, hanging baskets and creative planters that made this place feel like home. Also a gas bbq grill, patio table & chairs, and several benches with sweet Mountain View’s made it easy to slow down and relax.
Our host Todd is a super friendly guy who was quick to respond to our requests and gave great recommendations for dining out. The pride of ownership shined through with well thought out touches all over this property. If we return to Alaska we will definitely stay here again!

This is a tiny but very well put together studio apartment. The host was very approachable. The area is rural but close to Denali. Added bonus was being greeted by their cute dogs!

Had a little trouble finding place because there was roadwork going on and the street sign was removed. After we found it and Todd let us in and he apologized, it was beautiful. Best place we stayed on our trip. Secluded but only 15 minutes to Denali. Thank you. We would love to come back. Sorry we couldn’t get to meet Julie.

Very cute studio apartment. Clean, good bed, great shower. Small kitchenette was well stocked with utensils. Even a washing machine, an unexpected plus. Healy is small, but we found it without trouble due to excellent directions from the owner. Todd, the owner, was very personable and attentive to our needs. His property is large with a walking trail out back. I’d definitely recommend.

This VRBO was precisely what we needed for our 2 nights/3 days in Denali. Kitchen, laundry, spacious bathroom and bed. Simple but such a thought out and designed space. The host was kind and met us upon arrival. It’s about 20 minutes from the entrance to Denali but honestly it wasn’t an issue and we enjoyed being a little ways from the main tourism sites.

This Studio unit was clean, functional, and well designed. Very comfortable. Julie thought of everything you might need, even a collapsible laundry basket. It is nicely decorated.
Todd responded within minutes when we had a quetion.
It is about a 10 minute drive to Denali, so very convenient. We would stay again if in the area.

The Property was outstanding. The property was clean and Todd and Julie paid attention to every detail. We really liked the provided laundry facilities and full kitchen. The view of the northern sky was beautiful, and we could see the Aurora from our window at night. I don't have anything negative to say about our experience at the Taiga House. I would stay there again if I had the opportunity.

Nicely appointed, all new construction and quality finish from instruction. Quiet location with easy access to a quality grocery store and a decent brewpub/nightlife. A barrel vaulted ceiling in a studio apartment was quite surprising. Nicely done 👍

This location was great, just a bit of construction. Very clean and comfy! The full kitchen, outdoor grill, and washer / dryer all came so in handy. We were able to get some beautiful hiking done and truly enjoyed the visit!

Only about 15 minutes from the Denali park entrance, the Taiga House was a perfect home base for us as we spent 2 days exploring the park. It was super clean and as described in the photos/description. The host also introduced himself to us when we arrived, which made us feel so welcome! Thanks for a great stay.

The bathroom looked very new, with great waterfall shower and a handheld shower head that's very easy to control. It was very new. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the utensils/pots/pans were clean and well organized. The windows could be opened easily for good ventilation. The environment was quiet and peaceful, and it was just a few minutes drive to Denali national park. The only change I'd recommend is better signs for the unit. They might be there but hard to see when we were driving. We spent quite a bit of time finding the place, even though we were practically a few feet from the driveway. I'd highly recommend this place.

We had a great stay here while visiting Denali National Park. It was a little bit of a drive from the park entrance, but it was great to have a little distance for some quiet. Julie and Todd were very responsive and considerate hosts. We highly recommend this for a couple looking to explore Denali.

Enjoyed our stay with all the amenities of home and the property is beautiful to just sit relax & check out the mountains, perfect location it is close to Denali National Park. Restaurant 49th State Brewery good food & brews 5 minutes away, we will definitely stay again when in town.

Clean, cozy, modern studio apartment
The rental is small, but has an efficient and comfortable layout. It is close enough to Denali to be convenient, but far enough away to avoid the hustle of Denali village. I would definitely recommend it!

Healy Studio Apartment
The studio was lovely! It was spotless and had everything we needed. It was only a 10 minute drive to Denali NP. We did not get to meet Julie, but Todd was a wonderful host! If we are ever in Healy again we will definitely stay here.

The perfect ending to our trip!

The studio is cozy, clean, and very well provisioned (the full kitchen and washer/dryer were just what we needed). The studio is very close to Denali National Park and the 49th State Brewery, making for an easy day trip into the park. Our favorite part of our stay was the beautiful, quiet property which gave us spectacular conditions for viewing the Northern Lights! We also loved getting to meet the 3 sweet pups who have the privilege of calling this property home. Julie and Todd are excellent hosts and we couldn’t be happier with our stay.

The property was gorgeous. The studio perfectly fit our needs for the few days we stayed. We had originally planned on staying at a local resort when we got a call saying they were shutting the water off 3 days before our reservation; our options were to stay and deal with it or get a refund and stay somewhere else. We went with the latter, and even on such short notice, Todd and Julie were able to accommodate us. We met Todd at the property and he was very knowledgeable of the area, which helped us make some of our decisions. Despite the owners living on the property, we still had plenty of privacy and felt as though we had our own little section. Denali is probably the most beautiful place I've ever been to, and being able to stay within 15 minutes of the entrance made it that much better. My fiance has a restrictive diet due to food allergies, and we were still able to find food at the Three Bears down the street. Despite most of Denali being closed due to the off-season, Healy still had many local businesses open, which made our stay that much easier. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!
