I would definitely recommend Alma.

Alma is in the old city -- all of the attractions are within a 15 minute walk. Our hostess was extremely helpful --we generally communicated with her via Whatsapp and she always responded very quickly. The old city is a charming maze of alleys but there are many signs (in English) on the walls, including signs to Alma once you are within a few blocks of the place. After the first day, you will have no trouble finding your way around. And the apartment we stayed in was very nice.

Michal (our hostess) sent us information on how to get into Alma and how to access the keys the day of our arrival, but since we were trying to limit our use of the phone when we were not on wifi, we didn't receive it until we were actually at the location. It worked out alright, but it would have been a little less stressful if we had received that information the night before. Also, we found it difficult to drive to the location using Waze, which othrwise worked well in Israel. We suggest using Googlemap to find your way there.

We would return!

The cleanliness was of a very high standard and the location was superb. We were contacted via whatsapp and all the relevant information and enquiries were communicated in a very friendly and professional manner (thank you Michael).

Amazing beautiful and clean; great location!

We rented 2 rooms which were beautiful, amazing designed. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and well equipped. It was very nice to sit outside using the table and chairs. Location is also very good, close to the market and more. The host was very nice and cooperative. I would definitely recommend!

Nice historical rooms

Very nice cosy place in the historical centre of Akko. Quite big room with all necessary things. Late check in possible with lock key.

It's a bit uncomfortable to bring the bags and go park the car outside the city. But staying in the old city is worth it.

A highly recommended place to stay in Old Akko. We will definitley come back!

The room is beautifully decorated, keeping the original ancient charm, but with new, modern facilities. It has all the equipment we could possibly need and is spotlessly clean. The complex (including the inner courtyard) is peacefull and quiet, but in a fabulous, safe location - steps away from the best restaurants, the harbor, the beach and the market/bazar. Our host always available, extremely nice and informative.

The option of breakfast (included in the price) would have been great. We had to go elsewhere for it.

The best 0lace to stay in Akko

The rooms are splendid from architectural point of view as well as the style they are furnished. The position is outstanding inside the old city and parking area. The support, suggestions and tips provided by the host.is excellent always aimed at letting the gusts filling at their own home. The price of the room is a little bit low compared to the avegarage cost of similar accommodation in the same area.

Not possible to say anything we did not like.

The owner was very very nice and always attainable. Whenever we had a question she answered immediately. She helped us with everything. Then the flat was beautiful and comfortable. Everything was close by. The Sea and beach, the market. Also the trainstation we could reach by foot or faster by taxi. From there we traveled a day to Haifa, which is also not far away. I think it was a very good decision to stay in Alma. Thank you very much.

This is the most exceptional oasis of calm and beauty. Such a peaceful haven. In an exceptional setting right in the heart of the old city. The apartment is immaculate and beautifully delicate. Michal is a wonderful and warm hostess.

Unique, beautiful, impeccably clean room.

Michal, the owner was amazing! Answered all our questions, made great recommendations and since we checked in Friday evening, had candles set up for shabbat. The location is AMAZING, we felt safe and loved checking out the shuk in the evening and seeing how different it looked during the day. The room was beautiful and unique. The beds were mega comfortable and the room was "roomy" and impeccably clean. Bonus honey bourbon in the fridge! Everything was perfect and I highly recommend.

Alma is a charming and well appointed renovated Airbnb in the old historic and unique neighborhood of Akko.

Some of the old town is in need of improvement-it’s very genuine but the area has lots of properties that need care.
