Ein toller Aufenthalt!

Komfortables, sauberes Zimmer mit super Meerblick!

Zimmertüren sind sehr schlecht isoliert! Die Reinigungswagen auf dem Flur sind leider ab 8.00 Uhr morgens stark hörbar weil der Boden Rillen hat.

A great all-inclusive good quality hotel, near to the beach and town centre

The hotel was clean and well furnished. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet restaurant was a good size, with a great choice and variety of foods at each meal, and a good amount of seating (inside and outside). There were lots of sunbeds and seating in the pool and lobby bars. The room was small but adequate, with a nice size good-layout bathroom, and the room was cleaned every day and the mini-bar restocked too. There was evening entertainment, although some acts were much better than others, but the "show" bar-area had lots of seating (with comfy chairs) with table service for drinks. There were some issues on arrivals with our room not being available, but the manager had arranged an alternative so that our stay was not affected too much, and offered us a room-upgrade and late-checkout as compensation. The hotel is also near to the beach (a short walk away), with some shops, bars and cafes, as well as some shops/shopping centres and other bars and restaurants in walking distance (if you wanted a changed of scene)

There was no music (even on a low-level) in the lobby bar at night, and when the evening entertainment finished at the "show" area (often by 10.30pm) the background music was switched off at 11pm, if not before. The evening entertainment was not very good on some nights, with 3 nights in a row having a duet-band playing, and they lacked any real enthusiasm and stage-presence (like they did not want to be there!)

There are no designated areas for smokers and non-smokers. A lot of people smoke cigarettes around the kids near the pool.

Nice and satisfied !

* The guest of the hotel is relaxter and not too much making noise. * The food a lot better and tasty than RIU papaya that we had stayed. * The bed is very comfortable and big even is 2 person beds. * Big swimming pools with a nice garden. * Location is close to the beach and Yumbo shopping * Less noisy than other cheaper RIU ( noisy only when people or room attendant walk in front of the doors ). * There is waitress and waiter to take your order to drink. * Every where clean … they do good effort to give a comfy feeling to the guests. * Less noisy than other cheaper RIU ( noisy only when people or room attendant walk in front of the doors ). * Plenty of choices of foods and drinks ( unlimited ).

* Some employees are less friendly while they work in the tourism sector… friendliness is very important but it might be the character of Spanish. * Almost no one speak english… very difficult to communicate. * RIU palace is luxurious than normal RIU. * Less noisy than other cheaper RIU ( noisy only when people or room attendant walk in front of the doors ).

Highly disappointed by theft from our room

The staff were friendly and the location amazing for us. We were keen to stay again due to convenience however you may wish to see our negative score reasons first.

My engagement ring has been stolen by the staff from my room. I'm very upset and disappointed by this. The food choixe and quality was dreadful and the alcohol is of cheap quality. Beds are hard but that seems to be a Canary thing.

Great place to stay

We were quite happy with most things but the disabled ramp in reception needed attention and our toilet was dirty on arrival but when we complained they cleaned the toilet and apologised.

A little music around the pool and a few games during the day, surrounding the hotel is quite hilly so if you have a walking disability it’s quite hard to get to the beach 82 steps then to come back you have the steps or a steep hill

Fantastic hotel

Comfortable and relaxing stay

Great food and helpful staff. Facilities are modern and clean. A very good and complete all in experience.

Fitness room could use a set of dumbbells or weights. Evening entertainment was not very varied.

Perfect place for a relaxing all inclusive

Everything was very clean, the staff were all excellent and most of the food was very good.

Literally no daytime entertainment and nightime entertainment wasn't very good.

We expected a bit more from RIU

Excellent and various food. Fabulous drinks in the main bar. Part of the service in the main restaurant- compliments to Cesar! Very clean and well maintained rooms- thank you Fatiha. Helpful front desk.

The average age in this hotel is 60+, it’s too quiet, no music during the day, no entertainment except from the night music shows (too many German songs) and short, but beautiful piano concerts. The staff in the main restaurant is very moody- if you come half an hour before closing time, you won’t be welcome. Also, they don’t speak English well- quite often our orders were mixed up. German language is the preferred and commonly used one. The pools are too small and too crowded, all sun beds are reserved from the early morning and a lot of them are not used for many hours while other people have no place to sit and relax. We don’t recommend this hotel for families with teenagers or young people. We’ve been to many RIU hotels all over the world and have never been in as quiet and this one.

Great stay, friendly staff, and good food

Great service and friendly staff. The food was good with a lot of choices for all meals. Would definitely come here again if travelling to Gran Canaria.

The umbrellas in the pool area are a bit old and many will not stay up. Sadly, people are reservering the sun beds early in the morning. When we came down around 8:30 most of the beds were reserved, even though most people did not get there till hours later. The staff sid not do anything about this.

I really liked the hotel very much and I will stay again. The hotel staff are very friendly, I like the hotel restaurant very much, and the cleanliness of the room is also very good.

My room is on the 7th floor. There should be a "central air-conditioning system" upstairs on the 7th floor. Every morning at 6H30, the hotel's air-conditioning main unit starts to work. The operation of the air-conditioning makes the furniture in the whole room vibrate, and the room becomes very quiet. , I didn't notice this phenomenon at first, in the early morning of one of my stay, I found this phenomenon. The noise of that machine was really annoying. I wanted to change rooms, but because I was about to leave soon, I held back, and I will definitely not stay in that room next time.
