Situated in Te Anau, this attractive house for $171 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Enjoy watching the Tui feeding in our garden. Sky TV & internet are free !This is a safe fenced garden in a quiet location so close to town .The house is double glazed and the sun pours into the rooms. Travelers enjoy the fully equiped kitchen and stylish dining area and comfortable lounge. One set of bed Linen , towels , face cloths and bath mats are free to you so a home from home experience ! All the linen is dried naturally in the Southland breeze ! The beds are all new as we understand the importance of a good nights sleep when travelling ! We expect people to only use one set of bed linen please if all the beds are made up to give you choice. There are three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 There is a queen bed. Bedroom 2 , a king bed that on request we can split into two king singles. Bedroom 3 A king single that has a roll out bed if requested . There are puzzles and games for the family to enjoy. There is a BBQ ready for those warm evenings but it must be cleaned after use to a high standard. . . Te Anau is waiting to show off to you the unspoilt splendour of Fiordland. Here is the wow factor previously reserved for Queenstown ! Enjoy the seclusion of the varied recreational activities such as walking the Great Walks , fishing or Golf. For the thrill seekers take a jet boat ride into lord of the Rings country or a family trip across the vast lake to the Glow worm caves. Its only 2.0 hours to Queenstown and the ski fields or the huge number of activities around it. Of course Te Anau is the gateway to stunning Milford Sound and stopping here for two nights or more enables you to enjoy the stunning surroundings . Only 100m away is the friendly Te Anau Country Club. Non Members are welcome to enjoy delicious great value meals from the Restaurant. Take away meals are also available. If it is raining there is a unique vintage machinery museum 5 minutes walk away open most days in the year ! Special conditions: We expect the house to be left as it was on your arrival eg your cooking utensils and dishes all washed and put away where you found them ! Please clean the floor areas and use the vacuum cleaner. Linen is included and it is assumed that you only use one set of bed linen and towels provided for the number that booked . Above this there will be an extra charge of $25.00 /pp/ stay. If an extra guest arrives please tell us as we generally can organise extra linen ect plus sort the extra person charge We provide a washing machine and dryer but you are to supply your own washing powder and leave a donation for each time you use the dryer please . Please empty the filter before leaving the house . Please use the washing line to dry clothes as a first sustainable option .

Easy communication throughout the stay. Very clean, well set up especially with kitchen facilities. The beds were very comfy and was nice having a fenced private back yard especially as we had a dog with us. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting somewhere to feel like a home away from home.

Beautiful tidy and well presented home and very easy for my 90+Yr old parents and my son, who has back problems, to get around. Within walking distance for me , not my folks to the lake front. So much nature in Te Anau, went to Milford Sound. Well worth the trip. Thank you to our hosts for such awesome accomodation and for accomodating our special needs. Was lovely for the dogs too, very safe and fenced in.

Great place to stay, clean, comfy, had all conveniences we needed and a fantastic shower! My only issue was that I had to login to the website to get the lock box code, rather than it being emailed out with the rest of the check in instructions after the final payment. Other than that, absolutely great. Two thumbs up.

We stayed here with our family and the place is perfect!!!! Great size home for a family and it is well located near the centre of town. Nice little private rear lawn with outdoor table which gets the sun all day long. It has everything you need. Highly recommend and we will stay here again when we visit next. Thank you for having us!!

House was very centrally located, with the photos not doing it justice! The place was easy to find and navigate through. Communication with owner was very easy considering we didn’t have reception/internet prior to the stay! My only issue was the cleaning fee considering there were so many things you were expected to do before departure. Not sure what you’re paying for there.

We felt like a couple of days away with our dog, some were quiet and peaceful, we took our bikes and had a lovely time. Fabulous place to stay, clean, warm quiet, dog had a fenced area outside, neighbours were friendly.

We stayed for a couple of nights in Te Anau. This property was perfect - it's just a few minutes walk from town and a great springboard for the drive out to Milford Sounds. It's a lovely house with a small garden that was perfect for having dinner outside on a warm evening. The area was nice and quiet, so perfect for our small person's early nights. A driveway with a covered parking bay provided off-street, shaded parking.

. As visitors from Australia this property was perfect for us and made our stay in this wonderful location even more enjoyable. It was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and roomy and in a great location (only a short walk to the town centre and lake).We found the host very easy to deal with and accommodating (especially after we had to cancel our trip last year because of COVID). We highly recommend this wonderful property and would love to stay here again in the not too distant future.
