The room was clean and homely.
There was coffee and tea plus TV.
The room was pleasant and bright, the bathroom was the same.
For November the room was quite warm, the view was quite good.
The Bar Man was very helpful.
The lighting on the stairs could have come on earlier, it was rather dark.
There was no one around when we left at 8.30am, so I don't know when breakfast would have been served if you had
ordered it, it was extra.

Charlie the owner made us very welcome and made sure we had evening meals (which were very good!) despite the Inn being busy. The Inn is an old building so don't expect acres of glass and shiny surfaces, it is a bit rustic and we like it that way. Breakfast was a little basic but that was fine with us and it wasn't expensive.
Thanks to Charlie and all the staff for a pleasant and friendly stay. 26th Oct 2023.

Location was ideal for to stop over on the way to Cornwall. The food at the pub was fantastic

Really good food served in the bar with a log fire for warmth. Very friendly staff and locals. Clean room with everything we needed. Very enjoyable stay.

The evening menu was not for me but I'm a fussy eater but my partner was happy

It was just a short distance from an event we were attending. The surrounding countryside is good to explore.
Unfortunately the pub is on a main road and not used to traffic at home we were disturbed by the noise outside in the early morning.

There was no cooked breakfast on offer. We were able to help ourselves to our own breakfast at our convenience for £5 per head. This really suited our circumstances.

Good evening food menu ,excellent for a small pub.
Buffet breakfast, help yourself value for money.
Front entrance not very enticing but nice surprise when inside.
