Please follow the check out list before departure. -Pets: this is a NO pets property; guests found in violation of this policy will be charged an additional fee of $350 and will be required to find alternative lodging for their pet for the remainder of their stay Garbage: All trash must be stowed in the proper garbage or recycling receptacle. Guests must visit the transfer station before departure. Guests may leave 1 bag of trash at the end of stay if the transfer station is closed. If excessive trash is left it is charged $15/bag. Returnables: All returnable bottles & cans may be dropped off at the town parking lot downtown to benefit Eldercare services on the island. There are no hours of operation so this may be done anytime. Transfer Station Hours- Sun, Mon, Weds, & Thurs 7:30am -- 4:00pm Lobster shells- If you're planning on cooking lobster, crab, mussels, etc. please visit the dump the day after your meal or if you're on the ocean you may dispose of your shells in the ocean. Anything that comes from the ocean can go back in the ocean. Do not leave lobster shells in the garbage for over 24 hours. With high heats/humidity lobster shells can become a huge mess/smells and can also attract unwanted animals to the property.
