The hotel is located at a quiet place and has a lot of space around it. So the view from the room is good. The rooms are spacious. The restaurant is very good, with a lot of choices, and the breakfast is excellent.
The room is simple, without a fridge or coffee/tea.

Really good service of the staff. They kindly helped me to find a good location to charge my car in the surroundings of the hotel. Also the dinner was very good and the breakfast delicious.
The rooms were cosy and had a good bed.
pillows were too soft.

The room was extremely clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant on one evening. The hotel is great for those who want to do some walking and hiking in the nearby area, with a beautiful lake just a 10-minute walk away.
We booked a deluxe room but don’t understand what was “deluxe” about it - it was a small room, with a very small bathroom. It was new and modern, but the glass walls for the bathroom (along with the mirror on the wardrobe opposite reflecting everything from the bathroom into the room) was just a little too much - even couples who’ve been together for years need their privacy in the bathroom ;)
There was barely any storage space (just a wardrobe, no drawers).
We were very disappointed with the restaurant opening times. Sundays until 6pm and Mondays completely closed. Bearing in mind the hotel is quite far away from the city centre (30-minute walk, and we don’t walk that slow), that was a shame. Otherwise, it would have been fine if there had been a separate bar or even just an open room that was open every day where we could play cards and enjoy a beer (there wasn’t really any space for card games in a deluxe room unless you squeeze up to the desk or use the bed as a table). Not ideal when we were three people in two separate rooms. Especially annoying was the fact that bigger rooms were cheaper (although not “deluxe”) and had a sofa in them. Not quite sure why the deluxe rooms were more expensive.
We’re not sure if it was the kind of waitering style that you find in some German regions, but we found that the waitresses - particularly in the evening - were quite abrupt and on two separate occasions they gave the impression that it was looked down upon to sit in the restaurant and not order food but just enjoy some drinks with a “well you could have said that at the start” as they brought menus (again, would have been find if there had been a separate bar/shared room to use in such cases).

They found a very good solution for the breakfast buffet in corona times: all guests have to wear masks and disposable gloves every time they serve themselves. It allowed the breakfast to remain an agile service, differently from other hotels we have visited recently. The check in and check out were also uncomplicated and fast.
The shower had a minor issue, but was solved in no time.
