The setting, the Manor itself and the ambience.

Beautiful redesign of a classic country Manoir using sustainable materials on a southeast Asian theme. The atmosphere is serene and welcoming, not at all formal as I had feared. It’s peaceful and relaxing.
The food was exceptional and very reasonably priced.
The lift wasn’t working.

Location and set up
Bathroom doesn’t have a door, there is no ceiling either between the bedroom and the restroom, therefore no privacy whatsoever

Very beautiful grounds and house,
It was like faulty towers, 1 lady works on reception who does the bar and everything else.
They call it a “SPA” it was a small cold pool in the basement with a jacuzzi built in that didn’t work. Which you can’t use facilities freely until 1900-midnight.
You check in at 1600 which your met with food choices from a limited menu. 2 choices reservation menu order before 1700 or non reservation menu.
As we arrived at 16:40 we went with non reservation menu. Went to dinner at 18:40 to be told there’s only cheese and biscuits left!!
The hotel is in the middle of however when we explained this got a rude man say that’s your choice or order Uber eats!!
Shocking service from start to finish.
Such a shame as the potential and beauty is lovely.
Bed was low to the ground and a very cheap mattress. Shower was a dribble. Toilets are wedged in corner of bathroom so if you have anything more than a 34” waist good luck.

Very nice and quaint hotel.. Located in a very quiet area with a pleasant park.
Only downside is the pool, beautiful but unfortunately with water too cold

exceptional scenery and park
with this exceptional place , would deserve some refreshment of rooms which are a bit dark ,upgrade of equipment… no need of TV or so but refresh the decoration…

We ordered a main course and dessert which were excellent and good value. It was warm so we eat outside on the terrace. Wide breakfast choice. Rooms comfortably furnished. Lovely property and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
It’s rated 4 star but not sure the service is up to that standard though it was always friendly. Decor might be getting a little tired.

The food in the hotel was very good but you have to choose the night before. We didn't have the breakfast. They seemed a little short on staff. There was an extremely helpful young man who run the bar!! Really lovely grounds.
The bed it had a wooden edge which ran around the bed and the mattress was inside. this made it difficult for my husband who has a disability to get out of bed. They had a lift down to the swimming pool but no handrails to access the steps to get in the pool.

Pool was warm and clean. No problems there.
The sauna was off when I wanted to use it and took 15mins to warm up.
The decor in the rooms was very stylish and the grounds were very beautiful and great for having a peaceful walk in the surrounding nature.
Would consider staying again, subject to the points below being addressed.
Nobody at reception when we arrived in the mid-evening. Somebody came however after calling on the phone in reception within a minute.
My wife and I were only issued with one large towel for the two of us. Since we only discovered this after dinner and again nobody was in reception, we waited until the morning to request more towels. Even then, only one face towel and one more large towel and one towel for the pool were issued. We were two people!
As a vegan, this is the first time I have ever been told at a hotel (I travel a lot) that there was no vegan-appropriate milk. Very disappointing, since I like to have cereal in the morning. There was also no chopped fruit selection.
The walls in the bedrooms had mould developing in places. This could potentially become a health hazard if this is not dealt with.

very very dated now, the hippy vibe has gone , rooms and furnishings weird mix . bathroom hideous and dirty. not clean. building inside freezing even at dinner and bedroom heater switched off. Wi-Fi access a nightmare.

"Spa" it is not but pool was nice. The bed was too small and the woodwn frame acted as a wooden crib - thus uncomfortable.

the heat rising from the pool and sauna under our room, also no window apart from the French window which if left open allowed the rain to enter. The black mould on the door jamb

Variable / good one day lacking eggs the other
By booking a table for dinner we were excluded from choosing from the main menu- this was limited enough but we had to eat the plat from jour which was not to my liking: this should have been a specials option and not ‘forced upon us’. DO NOT BOOK A TABLE HERE!

A luxurious oasis in spacious grounds, conveniently located for Quimper. Fantastic eastern-themed building, rooms and plentiful fitness facilities. Lovely breakfast at a great price. Staff were friendly and helpful

The bed was comfortable and the bedroom large. There was a small swimming pool, not big enough to swim really but good to relax in.
It could be and perhaps once was a beautiful, unusual hotel, but it’s run- down and has an unloved feel about it. Specifically there were technical problems of toilet constantly running water despite telling the staff, doors sticking, wardrobe door sliding open to expose the loose small safe. Soap and tissues weren’t replaced. A noisy DJ on both the nights we stayed there- certainly not the silent ‘Relais de silence’ that they advertise themselves as being. All in all this hotel can definitely not be classed as 4 stars.

full of character and history very stylish makeover
a couple of quirks from the very stylish design. for example the toilet in the suite had a stylish screen rather than a door which made privacy impossible.

Beautiful house, garden and room. Really a quiet spot. Small swimming pool and sauna.
The WLAN was not even secured. Very weak signal and very slow connection. Limited to 2 devices connected per room. The login a total disgrace. 2022 the hotel is still in 200x.

Very nice setting in the outskirts of Quimper. Very convenient for visiting Quimper.
No restaurant. Very limited food available.

The location only
Despite the communicated "serenity" a noise place as rooms are located around the exit of the bar, etc.
Room: old worn mattress, Amateure- carpentry, broken fan in bathroom, plaster falling of the walls and the best no daily cleaning despite being out all day long.
Evertime we tried to explain to the staff we had to find them in the bar chatting up guests.... Ultimately, only receiving only shrugs.
The communicated presence of serenity is manifested in two pompous Ganesh statues only. Sorry, but a big disappointment in a series of nice hotels in Brittany.

I really appreciated it when I arrived well before check in time and they did their utmost to get my room ready. Beautiful grounds and excellent massage.
An inconsiderate guest who was walking around in his room (above mine) with shoes on (hardwood flooring) talking loudly on his mobile phone at 1 am.

Staff were very good. 10 mins drive from centre of Quimper.
Spa on first morning
Electrical problem with table lamp. Creaky, uncomfortable bed. Came back to bedroom after using spa to find a mouse in the room. (Thought we had heard it in the night and it had nibbled the sugar on the tea tray). Staff did immediately move us to new room. Spa pool on 2nd day was too cold for me to get into ! So just used sauna. This place Could be very good but unfortunately isn't. Was a 60th birthday treat so was disappointing for the cost. Only praise really is of the staff who were very nice.
Would we go back. NO !
