About this house rental
This bright 3 bedroom, 2 bath vacation home is available for weekly or monthly rental on exciting Lake Norman depending on the time of year (SEE RESTRICTIONS BELOW). It offers a pier and floating dock on a beautiful deep-water cove across the street. Dock your boat here or park it in our large driveway. The waterfront is shared with only one other home providing a more affordable lake experience for the vacationers seeking an exceptional value. The home is charming, neat and professionally cleaned, with a beautiful great room and large front deck. The well equipped kitchen features microwave and dishwasher, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, etc. . Living areas feature WiFi and satellite TV, quality furnishings and beds, fresh paint, carpets or hardwood floors with lots of windows and natural light. Sustainability features include LED lighting, recycling service, and we purchase carbon offsets for the electricity you use. Smoking is only permitted on the front and back porch/deck areas, and outside. NOTE NO EXCEPTIONS ON PETS OR AVAILABILITY. This is also a no pet home. Only available for 28 days or more from November to March. Only available for at least 7 days and not more than 14 from April through November. This home has been enjoyed year after year by snowbirds looking for a warmer climate in a beautiful area of North Carolina. NOTE: The house has a security camera in the living room and sensors on doors and windows. The renter will turn it off by unplugging it per instructions in the Welcome Letter.

Our week at lake was wonderful. Gus was great from booking, checking in to the departure. Property is beautiful, quiet and just what we needed. We even caught a catfish off the dock for dinner!

Perfect location…spotless house!
We stayed in this house for a month and thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty of supplies to last the entire month, great location close to many restaurants and by far the cleanest house I have ever stayed at.

Spacious Lakehouse
We are a retired couple from Florida visiting family in the Charlotte area and we stayed for the month of September 2020. We loved the house and the dock across the street. A Winter I'll always remember
The house was ideal for me. It had a beautiful view of the lake and an abundance of natural light from the floor to the ceiling in the living room and dining room. The street was perfect for walking and besides ducks this neighborhood also had goats and donkeys. The block backs up on a beautiful golf course which made a great walking path. With the YMCA only 1 mile away the daily exercises were available to me. My grandchildren loved the tree rope and they loved the bunk beds. We also all loved the dock and the swing by the dock. The experience was a 10 out of 10.

A house of character that suited our needs for the time we had to wait for our new home to be finished.
everything worked. internet was good (>75 Mg/sec), direct TV OK and kitchen fully supplied. We had to bring very few items from storage.
Gus was more than helpful. Imagine the house would be a good option for families wanting to be near the lake in the summer. JKM

We were visiting the area for a wedding and the house was perfect for us. The stairs to the master suite were a little steep. The kitchen was stocked will for anything you need to cook. We enjoyed our stay.

We came with family for a wedding, and enjoyed it very much. There was plenty of room, and everything we needed. For the price, you can't beat it!! This will be my first choice on my return visits to Charlotte. Thanks Gus!!

Quiet Springtime Getaway
Our family of 4 (including 2 teenagers) truly enjoyed our 4 days at the lake house! Although not exactly on the water, there was a beautiful view from the deck as well as very easy access to the floating dock and swing that was ours to use. The neighborhood was quiet and a very easy drive to restaurants, grocery, interstate, etc. The house is “nothing fancy”... there aren’t bells and whistles .... but that being said, nothing fancy was needed. It was clean, everything needed was there, we felt very safe, and too much “fancy” is often a bad thing as it takes you away from each other. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend the house to anyone! We had never been to the Lake Norman area before and really loved the area. The owner, Gus, was also very pleasant to deal with via phone conversations as well as text. Thank you Gus (and Mrs Gus!) for allowing us to stay in your home!

Fun for all ages.
The house was well appointed as advertised and it served as a perfect base for pontoon boat and tube rental, wonderful swimming and kayaking, dining out, visiting the Carolina Raptor Center, and grilling on the deck. A good time was had by all.

Very well maintained
My wife and I rented this house for three months while looking for our new house. We loved our stay and the house was great for us. Very well maintained, very comfortable, nice quite neighborhood. Would highly recommend this to anyone whether your on vacation or looking for a place to get away from the winter for a few months. Very convenient to get to any shopping you need to in minutes yet very peaceful throughout the day.

comfortable, clean, and relaxing
My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The house was roomy, beautiful and in a peaceful community. We loved the front porch, which could be gated because we were traveling w/little ones. Our boys loved the upstairs loft, it was like their own apartment. Gus and Linda were professional and accommodating, the house was well-stocked w/linens, towels, cleaning supplies, and toys for the kids. There was a detailed guestbook w/coupons, menus, and helpful information. Grocery store was less than five minutes away. We had a great time fishing, canoeing, and visiting Latta Nature Preserve, DiscoveryPlace, Lake Norman State Park, Lazy 5 Ranch, and downtown Charlotte. La Patisserie Cafe in Mooresville was excellent, can not recommend Fusion Bowl Restaurant. Would definitely rent the house again, lots of attention to detail by the owners towards ensuring a pleasant stay for the renters. Would highly recommend.

we have rented this house four times, always something getting upgraded and always clean and quite. if you want to relax this is the house for you. directv for you tv watching needs, set on the deck and grill some hotdogs and hamburgers its great.

Three Month Stay
My wife and I stayed January through March. Unfortunately the winter was colder than usual which prevented some outdoor activities, but did not diminish our stay. Nicely located with easy access to shopping in Mooresville and I-77 which runs north and south through North Carolina. The owner is very accommodating, easy to contact, and provided good customer service. Neighbors were very friendly and it is only a short walk to access the public dock on Lake Norman (which is a very large lake).

Wonderful Christmas Vacation!!!
We rented the home for the week of Christmas so we could be with my brother and his family for the holiday. What a wonderful experience!!! We rent homes several times a year as we travel to different locations on vacation and I would not hesitate a moment to say that this was the cleanest and most well equipped home we've rented.
- Clean Home: We often spend our first day cleaning the home we rented... not here!! We felt comfortable walking right in and enjoying this well maintained/cleaned home!
- Well Equipped Home: Christmas dinner always requires a lot of dishes you don't use every day so we brought those along with us to make sure we had everything we needed to make the big meal... We didn't even have to use a lot of what we brought with us because it was already there in the home.
- Nice/Helpful Owners: Gus made us feel very welcome at their home, was eager to answer our questions and was very helpful when we accidently left things behind as well. Thank you again Gus!!!
- Quiet, convenient neighborhood and friendly neighbors too!!
We would definately rent this home again and would love to come back to stay during the summer so we could enjoy the lake more.

Perfect place....just what we were looking for
Wanted to escape the winter weather in Ohio, and this was the perfect place. Furnishings were more than satisfactory, and the owner went out of his way to make sure everything was suitable for our work online away from the office. He even changed providers for the internet so that connection problems were solved. And the plus for us was that our daughter, son-in-law and two young grand daughters were only a short distance away.....we were able to visit several times a week. Would definitely recommend this home for long or short term stays....we were there 3 months!
