Ubicación, amplitud de la habitación, magnífica ducha, limpieza y amabilidad por parte del personal.

Habitación ubicada en el primer piso y no hay ascensor (pequeño detalle con poca importancia).

Tendrían que renovar muchas cosas,que se lo cobran

El punto era perfecto para lo que buscaba y tranquilidad en el edificio

El edificio era viejo, el ascensor antiguo ,la habitación era bastante amplia,el aseo era pequeño ,el lavabo minúsculo,no habían perchas para las toallas de la ducha,no había toallero para las toallas de la cara,eso sí había mucha luz de focos y lamparas y la cama era justa pero comoda ,caro para ser hostal

Bon emplacement, pas de bon service, mauvaises installations.

Salle de bain, pas un seul crochet pour accrocher quoi que ce soit, pas même les serviettes, douche très petite et inconfortable. Un matin il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude sans préavis et il a fallu du temps pour la redémarrer.

Un lugar perfecto en el corazón de Madrid.

La ubicación es espectacular, kilometro cero de Madrid, accesos a todas partes, en el centro de todo!!!, la habitación muy amplia y cómoda, el baño grande y limpio.

Excelente alojamiento a pasos de la Puerta del Sol.

Excelente ubicacióna dos cuadras de la Puerta del Sol. Pieza confortable, con muebles modernos. Caldera eléctrica que brinda la posibilidad de hacerse un té o café. Muy limpio.

El ascensor no para en el primer piso y eso lo hace un poco incómodo para subir las valijas. El baño es muy lindo pero falta algún perchero.

Location was perfect, just one minute from Sol Metro station. From there you could walk to everywhere. 10 to 15 minutes and you are in Plaza Major, Palazio Real de Madrid, Bank of Spain, Retiro park. The internet connection was very good. We were able to leave our luggages on the hostel after check out. The room was small but bed was comfortable. Bathroom was okay.

Not very clean. Some of the towels in the bathroom had some black staims. Corners of the room were dirty. The room had a strange smell. Bed sheets were not changed during the stay. Overall not the cleanest room or stay. The room had only one big pillow and two people had to share it together.

The stay was good.

Central location & clean rooms. The bed was also pretty much comfortable.

The room was very dark. There was one small window which didn’t bring any light into the room. Trough that window you could only see a wall & other windows.

Amazing property and resonable price

super comfortable property, amazing staff who were very helpful and response fast. the location is too close to the metro station. if I come back to Madrid, there is no better place than this in my budget.

The location was excellent as was the housekeeping. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Extremely unwelcoming staff on reception who kept taking calls when we were right in front of him trying to check in. There was absolutely no warning about the very noisy works being carried out in the street outside. The room was very small, noisy and the shower was awful. Very poor water pressure and the shower head was placed ridiculously high on the wall. The sink was tiny and had no plug and the waste paper bin had the lid broken off. There are very dark corridors to be negotiated when getting to your room. The building is not being maintained either, our balcony was literally crumbling in places and some rendering on the outside walls was falling off - an accident waiting to happen. We have visited Madrid many times and stayed in a variety of accommodation - this was by far our worst experience and the cost was simply not worth it. If it hadn't been for their early check out rule (one of the many rules they keep reminding you of via WhatsApp), we would have gone elsewhere.

dreadful customer service from check in throughout. illegally charged my credit card €40 without permission. bathroom stinks of raw sewage. staff unhelpful, rude and aggressive

Excellent Hostal in the Centre of Madrid

Yes All was Excellent It Was Cold that Weekend in Madrid and Was Great the Room was lovely and Warm when getting back at Night after a Good Few Pints in a Great Bar near the Hostal The Wandlery Wagon, My Friend Clifford in the Morning had the Breakfast and the Black Pudding was Excellent, Location is Great Overlooking Placa Mayor....

Great location in Puerta del Sol

The location was excellent, and the heater worked well especially since it's winter. The room was very neat as well.

A little pricey especially for NOT having a balcony with view which was advertised on my booking and also no breakfast included. There were so many other hostels in the area I would have changed my booking to if I could.

OK, but a few issues

lots of towels every day. Good on cleaning and setting up the room. Good location easy to get in and out of the building.

Front office staff seemed unhappy and surly. When we went to the room, the sliding door to the bathroom did not work. Then the toilet seat fell off. Did fix them right away but I certainly didn’t expect this level of disrepair. No apologies. Not real helpful in understanding what was wrong. Also, there was a lot of air freshener in the common area not sure what was going to be covered up, but it was almost to the intolerable level.
