Great hotel in a great location.

The hotel is located bang in the middle of Hua Hin and less than a 5 min walk to Walking Street where all the nightlife is situated. It is also less than 10 mins walk to the beach. You can't get lost looking for the hotel. It dominates the skyline. From here you can walk to the Night Market area just over the railway line at Hua Hin in about 30 mins.. There you will find a stage with various groups performing free and the area is surrounded with eateries of every description. Don't drive to the night market. It is almost impossible to park. Take a taxi if you need transport. A great night out.

There is nothing I can say of a critical nature regarding this hotel.

Most enjoyable and well located so will book there again when next visiting Hua Hin

Very clean, comfortable and good value for money. Reception staff gave good welcome when checking in and were very helpful. Assigned our three rooms next to each other as requested when checking in.

Add drinks and snacks selection in room fridge. Have room booklet explaining all hotel ameneties and how to operate various room controls for guests.

I've been a Hua Hin visitor for 20 years ,I was looking forward to our stay at C/B/R won't be goin

Went out for breakfast, the pool area was filthy sunbeds never cleaned if you were near the pool toilets bad smells coming from them . The noise levels were horrendous. We had an adjoining door in our room ,you could here the people in that room talking, music in bar opposite some nights till 1.30 am .they could do a lot better.

Windows in room we're very dirty. Kettle had a dreadful smell when boiled, no tea or coffee. But we received two bottles of complimentary water daily. For the price we paid breakfast would have been a nice addition , in the past as I remember it this used to be a class hotel. Now it just seems to be not cared for in the proper manner.

Great location- nice big rooms - friendly staff

Location is excellent. Breakfast was just ok. But understandable given things are still quiet post Covid. They tried hard but was very underdone. I do not consider this a negative - it will get better. I have stayed here before and will again in the future.

It's getting a little tired & could do with a spruce up - but still acceptable.

Good value for money hotel in excellent location - no valid complaints.

Great location - close to center of town, restaurants and bars. Everywhere was within easy walking distance. Room size was very adequate and comfortable with a small outdoor balcony overlooking the town. Breakfast was not included in my booking.

Night staff on Reception were not very helpful or friendly - daytime staff were ok. No bar or cafe' in hotel, no room service. No towels provided for pool area and no staff in attendance for very deep pool.

Cheap Hotel. Close to beach and night market. Good for short stays

Hotel is old worn out. Room design is very odd, not suitable for tall people. Don't expect to have a luxurious stay in this hotel

Relaxing

City Beach Hotel is a large Hotel with traditional Thai decor, furniture and artwork. Getting away from the modern materials and their sanatised style in many Hotels C.B. takes you back in time and that's comforting.

Booking.com price. My friend stated at the same time and he used Agoda via TripAdvisor. Without the fine details I paid appropriately 20% more using B.com

Unfriendly atmosphere. Reception staff unfriendly and non communicative. Thailand lost its smile. Swimming pool water far too cold.

The location. Close to everything

The breakfast. Not good for western visitors. We pay AU$12 each per day for breakfast and get 2 eggs, 3 pieces of ham, and 3 small sausages. There was no bacon and we had to ask for bread and orange juice.

Nice hotel, clean and good value for money, but let down by the reception Staff.

The location and the cleaning Staff, they do a great job keeping the hotel clean. breakfast was basic but I believe it was just because of Covid and just opening. Good value for money, the staff in the restaurant were very polite and willing to help.

The reception staff on arrival did not make us feel welcome and was not give any information on swimming pool, Restaurant locations and timings. There was no Cable/satellite TV in our room.
