All the staff at the resort were so helpful, friendly and pleasant. The snowboarding experience was incredible not over crowded. The food at the resort was amazing.

The room was a little hot for us and we were unable to adjust the temperature but the room was upgraded and we could open the windows to let some cool in.

For a resort that bills itself as an Onsen (hot springs), it was odd that there was only one large soaking pool for men. I'm used to seeing three or more pools of graduated temperature. I know that it's primarily a ski resort, but they should be up front that the onsen experience is a distant second to ski facilities. Also, we can tell that the resort has recently gone bankrupt, and the new owners have implemented serious cost-cutting measures. I understand the need for cutting costs, but when it is obvious in the food and drink they serve, well, maybe they should focus their cost-cutting where it doesn't directly impact the guests.

not my first time in Karuizawa, but my first time here at Palcall, friendly staff, FAST LIFT LINES would reckon for any beginner to advanced levels!

great location, quite, true ski-in/out massive snow! accommodating staff, clean and onsen has a nice traditional japanese vibes to it

it is a very good destination. Among the best in Karuizawa. lifts are fast and have good ski-in/out access enjoyed the gondola and the food there is amazing!

maybe longer lift operation time but hopefully after the pandemic i could come back again for more laps
