Overall, the hostel is fine. The rooms were generally clean but they are not as bright and modern as shown on the site.

Good location

I had booked 7 beds together in an 8 bed dorm- when we arrived, the staff informed us that was not available and made no apologies and were quite rude. Although the standard of the dorms was fine, The rooms do not look like they are shown on the website. The shower facilities are also not very good. The shower was always cold and the drain was blocked a couple times. The staff also come into the room every morning at approximately 7am to clean the bathrooms. Free drinking water is not available- you must pay to use the water filter.

Good value for money. ☺️

The accommodation had a nice common area, and the room had a good ratio of toilets / showers - beds. The bed was comfortable and there is space for you to store your things safely in a locker. They also provide a side bed curtain for privacy.

The dorm rooms were quite disconnected from the main building (where the pictures of the accommodation online show) and feels almost like you’re not staying in the same place.

Very good

The guy working in the reception is very service minded. We paid two days for renting masks, but got to keep them for 4 days. He was very helpful and also took his time to have a chat.

Beautiful and very clean hotel.

The beds were very comfortable and the room had a wonderful view. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly and let us check in early after a long overnight ferry. It is a quick walk to the beautiful beach. We appreciated the water in our mini fridge and the 5 baht water bottle refills at the reception.

good location! close enough to everything but far enough so you can sleep well. staff were helpful in booking activities and transfers. air con was great in the bedroom and very handy having a small kitchenette in the private room.

Great value for money, perfect location.

Very helpful and friendly staff. It was close enough to restaurants and bars but far enough that we didn’t ever get woken up during the night. Bed was comfy and shower was good water pressure. It was clean and the gym was a nice extra.

The toilet smelt a bit of drains so we had to keep the lid closed.

Perfect stay on Koh Tao - hotel feel!

The rooms were super clean and massive and the bed was the comfiest we have stayed in in Asia!!! Location is great as just at the end of town so no noise from the clubs but 5 minutes from the beach and town. Staff are helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day!

Nothing it was perfect! The gym isn’t quite as good as it looks in pictures so I wouldn’t book this place just for that just a heads up!

Superb

Loved the layout of the dorms and privacy of the beds. Great shared bathroom space with each dorm having 2 toilets and showers. I had food poisoning for most of my stay but it was quiet and comfortable enough that I was able to rest and recover properly. Hooks on the beds and the safes were a really nice touch. Staff were friendly and helpful with booking my ferry ticket and taxi back. About a 5 minute walk from main strip so its a little bit more peaceful but still close to all the action! I would 100% stay again!

Booked for the gym but some of the broken equipment was just hanging out taking up space in an already small workout space. I was sick and didn't end up being able to use the workout space. It would be nice to have full access the whole space on my next stay 😊

Good location but service could have been better

Good location. Room was made up well when we left the sign out. Wifi was good. Booked us on to the ‘oxygen’ snorkelling tour. Laundry for 50BHT/KG at property opposite.

On arrival, no one to check us in. Ended up trying to check in with what looked like the local taxi driver who had no idea what he was doing. Owner did then return and completed check in process. Owner then tried to ‘upgrade’ our room by placing us in a sister property. The room looked bigger but not nearly as nice and wasn’t what we had booked. Felt like he was trying to complete a booking for another property. During our stay we had power surges on two different days that caused the fuse for our room to trip. First time was at 21.00 and it took 1.5 hours for my message to be read and the fuse to be reset. I went to reception during this time but it has closed before 22.00 as was advertised.

very happy, wanted to extend our stay here, clean and comfortable

the hotel is in the ideal location to Sairee, very close but quiet! the staff are lovely and friendly, we even tried to extend a few nights but they were fully booked! we realised that for the price we had been paying to stay there, no other rooms in the area came close to the space and comfort we had at Good Dream. bathroom was modern, we had tea and coffee in the room and seating outside to enjoy the Mountain View each morning - it was bliss! the beds were huge and very soft. a/c also worked perfectly. There was a gym that my partner took full advantage of, wasn’t as perfect as the pictures but he still appreciated a good space to work out.

unfortunately we had to be very very aware of not leaving any food around, as we did on occasion have an army of ants coming under our door. however, this is very common in many places in Thailand, and a lot of the time it can’t be helped, the ants do find their way anywhere! the hotel provide a fridge and I recommend storing any food you want to have during your stay in the fridge. one more thing that would turn this properly to a perfect rating would be if they had some sort of pool or swimming area to cool off - they have a large roof social area with sun beds but it does get quite hot with no way to cool down!

Really comfortable and well air-conditioned room. The location was great.

Our room was on the ground floor and the door not well sealed which meant that cockroachs were able to get inside.
