Nestled in Balboa Island, this attractive house for $377 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Quintessential Balboa Island 3 Bed, 2 Bath beach house centrally located on the island with equal access to Balboa Ferry and historic Marine Avenue. This front home features an open, airy living room with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. The front Patio is over sized and perfect for family gatherings. Enjoy comfortable outdoor dining with a large patio table and chairs and a gas BBQ. Stepping inside, the kitchen has plenty of counter space for preparing food and extra storage. There is a master bedroom with en-suite bath, two bedrooms with shared bath, and a sleeper sofa in the living room to accommodate extra guests. For your convenience, there is 1 parking spot and a washer and dryer in the shared garage. This beach house is in prime location on Balboa Island. Go for a walk around the Island and stroll along historic Marine Avenue. Indulge in one of Balboa Island's famous frozen banana or a Balboa Bar. Explore the area via the ferry to visit the Balboa Village on the Peninsula and take in the views of the Balboa Pier. Rent a bike, jet ski, stand up paddle board, or kayak. Whale watching, and deep-sea fishing trips are close by with many boats that leave the Balboa Pavilion daily. On Balboa Island you can relax along the pristine beaches, go surfing nearby, check out the FUN ZONE, and grab a bite to eat at one of the many fine restaurants. SLP13450

Overall it was a very good experience. This was the first time our family was able to come together from all over the country since COVID. Parking was a big challenge, but we expected that since we are from the area. We have stayed at a lot of Airbnb's and this was, by far, the least stocked in terms of kitchen supplies, cooking equipment, etc. which made for challenges. The basics were not even there (no oil, S&P, spices, etc). Additional pillows and linens would have been helpful. The directions were clear in advance about the number of towels and having to rent beach towels, chairs, etc. but for the price it would be better to include those items as most places do. The lack of them definitely contributes to satisfaction levels. The upstairs tenants are delightful and friendly! Dishwasher was leaking a bit and needs to be repaired.

This is a great find just a block from the ferry to the peninsula. Clean, well maintained house. King bed, queen bed, twin with a trundle, and a pull out couch in living room. The third bedroom with the trundle is only accessible by going through one of other bedrooms. Tall ceilings and good size rooms for Balboa Island homes. Kitchen is dated but functional. No A/C. Not usually needed on Balboa but worth noting. TVs are equipped with streaming access like Roku. WiFi is solid. Overall great house and definitely recommended!

Great clean house near attractions, but there is a tenant upstairs, which was not in description. Also garage has a great deal of items, so unless you have a compact car, you will not fit, therefore must park on street. Also AC not the best and does not cool the house.

Location was fantastic to Marine St and the ferry over to Balboa/Newport. House was ckean.
Overall I would definitely come back!

The perfect family house
This place is perfect. Everything a family or even two needs. The location can not be beat!! Walk into town in three minutes. Right on the water. Will definitely come back!
