the location and size were really good.

wifi was really bad. the tv was not working as the signal was poor.

this is a great house for the money, it was super clean and great location

the managing company, completely let this house down. on my way there they messaged and asked me to fix the WIF as the previous guests had said it wasn’t working!!!!!! I also have a property on booking. com I would NEVER ask my guest to mend anything. I had 3 savvy teenagers and none of them could get it working, the toilet was broken a total let down

Location (central Oxford) excellent, with accommodation for family of 10.

Aga for "show" - not practical to master over 4 nights. Therefore no oven. Instructions for use of dishwasher should be on show, not hidden in a box file in a bottom cupboard.

The house and location were good.

I wouldn't recommend staying in staybeyond houses. We had 3 houses booked for our wedding over a year in advance and the company cancelled 2 of them with less than a weeks notice and no alternatives. The check-in process is laborious with the photo IDs. I had to chase the company to get my damage deposit returned.

The location. The space and airiness of the house was lovely. Once we got the under floor heating working it was warm too!.

The service from the agents/owners has been terrible, we reported all of these issues but only one was resolved. We weren't allowed to check in at the normal time as there had been a leak which needed to be fixed. We got into the property about 7pm. First thing we noticed was the lack of chairs - the house accommodates 10 people - there were only 8 chairs, and 3 of them were broken - one so badly it could not be sat on. The house has an AGA as an oven and it was very difficult to light and use. The dishwasher appears not to be working either. The house is advertised as 4 bathrooms - 3 bathrooms and a downstairs toilet. We were there for a family wedding and we had to manage us all getting ready with only one shower. The main shower leaked into one of the bedrooms (onto the bed) - this is the leak that should have been fixed before we arrived (and we still don't know whether it was subsequently). One of other showers had no hose connecting the shower to the shower head. Even in the bathroom with the working shower one of the knobs came off in your hand and it was more like standing under a tap than a shower. The general level of décor is far removed from the photos in the listing. The house is very tired looking with lots of chips in the woodwork/doors and walls just being grubby. The coffee table in the lounge has a hole in it and the TV doesn't work properly. The steps leading the front door were loose and broken. There was no folder with simple instructions on how to use appliances, nor any information about the rubbish/recycling arrangements. In fact in the recycling bin were things that would not be recycled - bottles of fruit juice/milk (with the liquid still in it), yoghurt pots with yoghurt still in it. What should have been a relaxing and enjoyable weekend became tiresome with all of the issues - almost laughable about what else could go wrong.
