The location was stunning. Our room overlooked the pool and was close to the beach area. It was easy walking distance to everything we needed.

The villas and the beach were just amazing.
I wished that the spa had been open would have loved to go. Also would have been great if there would have been another restaurant besides Snorkels Bar & Grill.

the property and the extensive grounds were absolutely stunning and without a single flaw, save for the exception that in the USVI they may have completely failed to come to any sort of realization

Excellent support staff: shuttle operators, housekeeping, security, individuals who set up the crib and those who helped in taking and removing our personal items were EXCELLENT! The layout of the rooms were wonderful. We loved the kitchen and its appliances, including the dishwasher. The bathrooms and the individual robes were quite luxurious. And the washer/dryer made life easier for us: we traveled with two children who were less than nine years of age, and an an infant. The children loved the pool and the playground. We appreciated the amenities, and flora and fauna. As local Virgin Islanders, we were glad that the iguanas and mongooses were able to roam freely. And we appreciated the caladiums, bromeliads, junm-up-and kiss-me, wild pineapples and other plants.
Most of the staff at the Front Desk-Check-In left much to be desired! Prior to traveling to Westin, we had contacted the hotel and requested an early check-in since we were traveling with children, including an infant. The friendly customer service person said that she would note our request and forward to the front desk staff. Although per our booking, we understood that check-in would be later, the customer service representative attempted to tell us that our check-in would be later than our booking stated. And in the meantime, several who came after us were escorted to their rooms prior to us. Additionally, unlike the other guests who had arrived after us received a Westin bag and information about the hotel, WE received NOTHING!! No definite answer to my questions were given, other that they were working on it. Finally, one young man who dealt with us after the ladies had left without giving us any definitive responses, saved the day. He informed us that he would have attended to the matter. Although I was quite annoyed at that time, he was quite polite, courteous, and helpful. I truly do not remember his name, but he made a tremendous difference! We were quite relieved when we were able to finally get the cranky infant and tired children into the room! The shuttle operator, a Virgin Islander, was so friendly, jovial and courteous. His behaviour reminded us that we should not base our assessment of the Westin on a few individuals at the Front Desk.
However, it appears that management needs to hire more housekeeping staff.

The actual resort
The staff in general wasn’t super helpful

The meals were not great. The dining area felt like a cafeteria. There is a huge need for a nicer restaurant on property

Loved it! We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa that we shared with friends. We were right off of the pool and hot tub area, but also had a view of the beach from our patio door. Despite the proximity to the pool, our room was very quiet. The villa was very comfortable, and we loved the Westin Heavenly mattresses. The Westin staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The beach area was wonderful, and we took advantage of the complimentary kayaks several times to paddle around Great Cruz Bay. Having the dock right there on the Westin property made it so easy to reserve and take off for a day out on a catamaran for sailing and snorkeling, or to catch the large catamaran water taxi back to Red Hook on St. Thomas.
Wish that the outdoor Snorkels restaurant served some of their lunch menu items at dinner. The lunch menu seemed to have some better options. And while we realize that there was just the one restaurant open due to the current Covid situation, it would have been great to have had another restaurant option, although I think it opened up the day we left.

Breakfast was great quick and tastey. However staff didnt communicate that the restaurant was cashless and had difficulty operating cards given.
The property is gorgeous esp the gardens and the villa. However staff at check in didnt give detailed enough info on the hold amount that is place on credit cards. Its not standard and is based on the cost of the room. We had a water supply issue the first night which was inconvenient. It would have been nice if the resort left a message about this.

Wonderful
Most of the female staff working the security entering the property was so very bad with and attitude! When you call for call for a golf cart service in the evening was poor.
Westin ferry back to the airport was poor when leaving on the 20th! Conflicting information about putting a a card on our keep was inconsistent going and coming from the property was poor!
We had to wait too long to be picked up each time we left our condo

Not a dam thing
The staff were not friendly at all, u had to get a ride to the front desk, they had no drink machines, the beach area was way to small

Everything was very clean and all amenities were available. Great location on the island and close to town.
I think the price is expensive for the rooms and it would be okay if additional items like chairs and snorkel gear were included, but that is all an extra charge. It would also be nice if the taxi was complimentary since there’s no other way around the island unless you get a car rental.

The pool and beach were great
The private pool was kinda lame
