Very nice hosts. The breakfast is OK, the content changes a bit day by day so there is something new to eat every morning. The rooms are spatious and clean, the hosts do a tidy-up every day. Beach is nearby, 5 min. walk but the hotel a pool with sunbeds which is a huge advantage. For example when the wind is strong and the waves arev so huge that lifeguards don't allow people to go into the sea (that happened to us during our holiday) than the pool is a good option.

The breakfast is available until 9:30 AM which is a bit early as it's a holiday resort where people don't want to get up early. Wifi is a bit weak but it's not a real problem as mobile Internet connection is cheap nowadays and you can use it within the EU as if you were at home.

Family hotel: extremely well run. I was made very welcome although late arrival (due to delayed flight). Offered something to eat and drink. Very helpful and informative. Meals were well cooked; varied choice and plentiful. Served either inside or outside on large patio/snack and bar area. Lovely garden surroundings and large very clean pool. Always free sun loungers. All staff worked hard, efficiently and were very friendly and pleasant. Housekeeping was excellent. Room very spacious with its own balcony. I was the only English person staying during my 10 day holiday but I did not feel uncomfortable. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Location was not accurately shown on maps which accompanied the booking.com website for the hotel. Satellite view did not show the actual hotel but a different one on the beach road. Very misleading. The block of rooms nearest to the road suffered from a lot of traffic noise but I was able to change my room after 2 nights to a block further back which was more rural and peaceful. I expected that the air conditioning and the safe would be charged extra to the accommodation but I was surprised and very disappointed to find that the use of room fridge would be charged at 5 Euros per day. As I only wanted it for bottled water I did not hire the fridge key. This I felt was a negative point as I have not experienced that practise before.

Paloma Hotel means hospitality! I currently live in United Kingdom and I visited Stalis, stayed at Paloma Hotel. It was a really lovely staying with all comforts. Excellent customer services, friendly staff who makes you feel like you are family, modern facilities and decoration, always clean and the most delicious food I’ve ever taste, with a full breakfast and traditional tastes. Relaxing times at the really huge swimming pool were unique, while only in a two-minute distance, you can enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Cretan sea. Paloma hotel is located in an accessible location, quite close to Heraklion and International Airport ''Nikos Kazantzakis''. What a stunning and scenic view from the private balcony. It was an unforgettable experience! Paloma hotel thank you for the best hotel staying in my whole life and keep going to offer the best hospitality service! I’ ll be back very soon! Can’t wait for my next staying at Paloma!
