very basic rooms compared lavish front desk but Spa and swimming pool were very nice. Restaurant quite nice although incredibly limited menu ( three options ) and seemed fairly understaffed as difficult to obtain waiters attention ( Although all staff were very polite). over all a nice stay in a beautiful setting of the country- ideal for large conferences and work parties but not so much suited to couples / 2 x guests

A nice and charming hotel in a beautiful nature area. The room was quite spacious. We slept with a window open and it was quiet and peaceful. We woke up to birds singing. I went to the spa in the morning and was all alone there which was amazing. Breakfast was nice and had everything.
We didn’t have dinner at the restaurant because there were no good vegetarian options with protein. The room had a funky smell. We could have been welcomed better, it was quite rushed and it didn’t feel like a nice hotel but more like a hostel. But when we checked out, there was a very nice receptionist.

The view from the restaurant
Starting with the Staff with jokes out of place and smoking while dealing with us, following to the room not being clean with dust on top of furniture like in the TV, bathroom tiles broken and not replaced, water of the shower was so extremely hot that accidental moving of the faucet causes burn!!, very old furnitures worned down. We felt like we were exactly at a road Motel in the United States. But definitely not for the price

Breakfast was very tasty and it was everything in there. My kids enjoyed the pool, although it was too much desinfection (chlorine) there and it was making me cough. We did not have time to explore more the outside area, it looked very nicce.
The rooms are bit smelly, not sure if it was the carpets or somethong else.

The setting is excellent, charming and relaxed.
The dinner was good quality.
The staff were friendly and accomodating.
The location is picturesque.
The rooms are large, views nice, but no coffee making facilities.
The television programmes are very limited and hardly any international news or sports channels
The bathroom looks very tired

- hotel is completely run down and I don’t know where it has 4 stars from (maybe 4 out of 10)?
- the room was very smelly and musty
- bathroom was very dirty and gross, toilet was so dirty (see photo), shower was dirty and full of hair and the shower head was disgusting
- there were dark hairs in the bathroom and on the bed (we do not have dark hair)
- spiders during the night on the walls
- two single beds put together so that during the night it is sliding around
- electrical socket not working on one side of the bed
- no air conditioning and window didn’t stay properly open so no air circulation
- very loud doors so when the neighbors where coming home we could hear everything and no soundproofing
Overall I do not recommend this hotel unless one has absolutely no expectations and is okay with dirty surroundings.

The room was very boring. The breakfast was boring. A beautiful place and surroundings, but otherwise boring. Wouldn't recommend it for a romantic getaway.

There is beautiful nature around the hotel, nice lake and trees to walk around. The food at the restaurant was good and the staff were helpful.
Our room was small and we had two separate beds which were connected together, they mentioned they do not have any couple size beds there which was a bit strange for a 4 star hotel.

The place looks like it's from fairy tales - the restaurant faces a big lake, there's a reindeer farm close by, a lovely walking path in the forest and most importantly - a huge pool and sauna. The room had a lovely balcony facing the charming restaurant building and the Christmas lights made it feel really festive. Breakfast was really good, it didn't miss anything and we also had dinner at the restaurant - the food was delicious and classy. And the staff was so nice all the time, really made us feel wonderful over there. A great experience!
The pillows could have been a bit better - but we had an extra one that helped.
